After much review, the +50 for incapacitating should be removed. This should then be replace with these two items,
+25 Incapacitated +25 Clone Termination
You only get the +25 points when the clone is terminated.
Also, update the K/D so that the kill doesn't count until your clone is terminated.
Simple enough, now get to coding!
Forge Changes needed Officer Splash 3.0, Proto 2.7 Advanced 2.5 Standard 2.1.
Original ROF needs to return!

No, would make the revive even harder since everybody would watch if the clone is terminated.

Since people will completely terminate suits a lot more it will promote cover to cover combat/and overall strategic endowment of the game. Anyone caught out of cover will have an even higher chance of getting terminated. It will also probably remove the some of the noobieness present in the game; bringing it one step closer to the seriousness of awesome. I think it will help reduce the overall clone loss. Maybe, just maybe, it will slightly help against cloak scouts giving a moment to players to survey the area. |

I can get behind the purpose of the suggestion, but keep the +50 for incapacitation, and add +10 for termination, since the incapacitation is what takes the bulk of the work. Termination is just frosting the cake. |

I like the idea overall, but I also believe the theory needs a reality check.
Theory: The increased priority on terminating clones would promote smarter play. ie: People using cover more intelligently.
Reality: 99% of people don't learn and the whole team will probably suffer increased loss of clones as a result.
Not trying to be a jerk or anything, it's just that in my experience with many FPSs and MMOs, is that individual people might learn a lesson, but the masses normally don't and end up ruining it for those that do. |

Ummm no and for good reason.
Let's say I'm in a fire fight. I down about 4 guys, but I don't terminate them. I go to reload and some scrub throws a grenade and terminates them all. Now if he is in my squad, I don't worry about it. However I love dropping OBs on people and that is 100 potential points my squad loses.
I do agree that there needs to be some rewards for termination. However I don't think we should remove the points for downing players. I will accept the removal of the 50 points IF the player that was downed was recently picked up (I'm thinking 10 seconds). This will help resolve the problem with K/D and WP boosting.

I would think that the +25 for termination would only go to the person who got the incapacitation. So, you get +25, wait, no revive, bam another +25. Shouldn't be able to steal half the kill points from someone.

Seeing as how terminating a clone takes about as much work as taking out a piece of equipment, why not make it 45/5. Seems far more balanced.

wouldn't this make it so everyone shoots at downed bodies to check for points, rendering injectors useless?
Sentinel: I am heavy weapons guy...
Commando: I got a RR and a CR, Im so good.

Is this just a way to avoid revive deaths?
It's a solution, I would still prefer revive refusal but anything is a step in the right direction |

Yeah, only if you get both the incapacitation and termination with one headshot.
Now that I think about it, if either keep the incapacitation at 50pts, or cut it down to 45pts, and make the termination an additional 5pts, so the total comes out to either 50 or 55. A down + double-tap kill shouldn't be worth as many points as a headshot kill. |

The last part about it not counting against your K/D until termination I am all for. I hate getting kill/revive/killed because a blueberry wants his revive points and having it count twice against me (or 3/4 times in really bad situations). If this only counted once against me, sure. Revive me and I'll take my fighting chance. Not when it's screwing my KDR though. |

I doubt this would have any affect on gameplay actually. All it would do is boost my KDR until all the scrubs realize they need to clone me out to get a kill.
This change while interesting is totally unneeded.
