I did? How so?
You said the forums tried to ruin Dust for you by telling you not to use the plasma cannon. With the current state of the plasma cannon in overall weapon balance, that's really pretty good general advice, unless you take great joy in coaxing the best performance that you can out of blatantly underpowered weapons, which not many people do.
Edit: I'm glad to see that you fall into that minority and are enjoying a weapon so dear to me, but I really don't think anyone was out to ruin your Dust experience.

PLC is a fun weapon, intentionally held back by CCP laziness.
If they'd only fix the bugs then we'd have a terrible but usable weapon. Right now for every kill you get with it you'll get non registering splash, projectiles that go right through things, weird reload glitches.
Can you believe the PLC had been in the game an entire year? Never once has it been touched. Apparently the guy who made it got fired, and the guy who was supposed to remove it also got fired. |

Now I have run into the reload glitches. That is pretty annoying. That should be fixed. |

Projectile speed too slow, arc too much, reload speed too long, ammo too low, post-fire delay too long :/ How CCP has kept the PLC in this state for so long is beyond me

Naw the projectile speed and arc and reload speed are fine- I appreciate that it takes serious skill to consistently land one PLC shot after another, and that it a one-shot-at-a-time sort of deal. It just needs something to reward all that skill with something other than mediocre-to-terrible damage.
