I just looked up red star you have 142 players in your corp, Eon as an alliance has 565 members still.
A.E had 30-40 at the beginning we have roughly 142 now , but because GTAV came out you lost all your players and could no longer compete?
What's funny about the whole AE vs EoN argument is that AE didn't exist till HS went to crap... can we say that EoN was the cause of their demise also?
There's no denying that after the FEC "war" people left the game. Posting numbers of who's in the alliance still is a joke man, c'mon... I'm still in EoN and I haven't touched DUST 6+ months
People were tired of DUST long before GTA, that argument is invalid. Not saying AE didn't beat EoN corps, but to say people moving on and leaving DUST had nothing to do with EoN leaving the game is trolling, and the gentleman from RS is falling for it.
That FEC was the last war for many people in the alliance, at least for many in my clan. Dates were set of when were officially leaving, and long before the war started districts were being sold off.
TP was probably the only corp that was still active after that war lol. I haven't said anything here that isn't true, and people know it. I have no reason to lie. AE didn't chase EoN out of DUST... DUST did that job.
But whatever, people will believe what they want. I'll see you guys in another game...maybe. I see people here became carebears so I might never see most of you guys in any competitive game ever again

If you can provide the link to where you found that information please drop it here.
I got my info from Dust Charts, and it's been a day since I last checked so unless it all changed overnight then there are still only close to 69 districts on 1200 timers.
If you can't provide your source. Then I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume this is an attempt to troll me.

I hate to break this to you(lol I really don't), but PC isn't the only way to earn money, one of the guys I play with has more money than most Corporations; and he hasn't been in a PC battle since Synergy/EoN was still around. The key to his wealth? He is a cheapass (but only as for as his own gear) in pubs, they guy literally runs basic and lower in pubs because he hates spending money on crutches e.g. proto gear. The guy also generally gives away around a mil. a day just because he is generous and because he can.
So stop whining about funding and start running free gear in pubs until you get good enough to never have to worry about money again. The only way to get better is by turning on hard mode, and you have to truly suck to not be able to make money in free suits. Logis might not be able to run free gear but you can get away with a 65000 isk suit and still make a hefty gain.

Just so long as you actually stay IN-GAME while exacting your wrath and don't go whining to the forums like you are now and I am pretty sure everyone in DNS would love it. The only people that actually fight against DNS these days is DNS, so an enraged, coordinated group effort to destroy us I believe would be relished. Who knows, maybe you guys will succeed eventually by recruiting unknowns of great talent, evolving your tactics (and thus evolving this game) and then take over so you can have them printing presses spitting out that isk for you, that we all KNOW you would start up yourselves once you had control.

I kind of think DNS / PC mechanics is going to be a thorn in the development for dust for a while, though not due to logic that their isk fountain gives them unlimited proto stomping abilities. I'm sure that of those that get paid, 50-75% of them could stay positive in proto without the isk fountain, they attack in packs and with tactics, essentially they know the formula for success. Also DNS is acting perfectly within New Eden codes and ethics, so nothing against the players.
The real issue is 2 fold, creating a perfect storm of sorts.
1) I don't see the implementation of any player market ever becoming viable under current mechanics. Eve has multiple successful forms of isk generation, Dust does not. What this means is that we all all in the same competitive pool in Dust compared to EVE or in the real world which we operate in separate competitive circles. Mission running, mining, and exploration affords Eve some stability in balancing out demands and needs. The Dust economy would be so erratic, due to the fact that we are all in the same singular competitive pool, as there really is only one end game in dust. Should the popular pc fits use the same crafting material as the other weapons/suits/equipment, then expect non pc ready fits (unique/fun fits) to suffer, making non pc fights less viable. Also the potential erratic behavior of Dust is thy number one reason why the eve connection is lacking.
2) Dust enthusiasm is relatively low at this point, I'm guilty of being gone for some time now myself (dark souls 2 / Thief). The desire/ability of the community to dethrone is relatively gone. Isk and energy are needed, and the isk attrition department is no longer competitive (the larger the group the much more difficult is is to organize, thus less effective), thus it almost boils down entirely to zerging with energy/effort, and needless to say pc players were in pc to begin with because they have more of it to begin with, and 32 good dust players can deny 1000 above average dust players given the right circumstances (unheard of in EVE). Back in EoN days we had threads uniting a whole bunch of small/med corps just to raise hell against EoN, which helped the big underdog corps, but this is no longer the case, and defending has been boosted since those days. Also the psychological effect of the blue donut's presence solidifies the phenomena since the community is all the wiser to pc mechanics now.
Essentially, the solutions to dust's woes are suspected to be far far down the developing line, requiring real alternative isk avenues for the game to keep the economy balanced and to keep the gameplay options varied (different competitive pools). As it stands, unless Fanfest reveals something of this nature, Dust is going to have to rely on new toys to bide its time during the dry spell.

You're probably the most intelligent person I've ever met on the DUST forums. Probably smarter than me. Your point is valid and, well, something ought to be changed about this. We need more ways to earn ISK (hiring ourselves out to corporations for PC battles is kind of out of the equation now), not want. Sure, you can run MLT/Std gear in public matches for a really long time, but your contribution to your team will be low, if not irrelevant--save if you are a very good player--due to the amount of Blackberries** running around. Trust me, I've tried it. Dragonfly Assault with an assault rifle against an MH-82 stacked plate Amarr sentinel never turns out well. This game has lost any actual Capitalistic functioning, and has more or less turned into a disgusting version of the Caldari State... a corporate dictatorship.

People seem to think its once upon a time there was an allaince called dirt nap squad who grew utilizing the best players in the game player conquering all untill none could stand before them. Bollocks.
Actually its a non agression alliance by several corps who want to perma lock thier districts in order to farm passive isk then pubstomp, becuase hey, DNS has farmed a combined clone value of nearly 12 billion isk. With all clone reserves maxed out any Corps who want a piece of the pie need to invest a minimum of 90 million isk inorder to take one district. Protracted conflict is a joke. You'll run out of money before they do. You'll have to watch your timer 24 hours a day, or get up at terrible hours to go after em.
CCP set it up like this and the various members of DNS have taken advantage of it. Fair play.
But there's something about the combination of corps not having the balls to fight others who are on the same footing as them, pubstomping, and then proclaiming them selves not only as elitist scumbags, but having the gall to have thier CPM leader say " this to show CCP how bad a system planetary conquest."
