Molden Heath is (as of April 25, 2014) controlled by the following:
- Escrow Removal and Acquision - 30%
- Nyain San - 27%
- Ancient Exiles. - 26%
- Ahrendee Mecenaries - 5%
- Capital Acquisitions LLC - 5%
- Dem Durrty Boyz - 2%
And inside the constellation, there are only three other corporations not on the aforementioned list that hold an adequate number to be noted as holders in the different solar systems**:
- 0uter.Heaven
- G0DS AM0NG MEN
- What The French
The 6 corporations named in the top are all a part of a very large, very omnipotent alliance called Dirt Nap Squad. They have, just like EoN did several months ago.
If we learn from our history, then it's time to learn from our mistakes. Let's not make the same mistake twice.
**: There's technically 4, but the fourth is a corporation called "Dirt Nap Squad." Soooo we probably shouldn't count them.

I don't think "impotent" is the right word... but I get your point nonetheless.
(I think you meant "ignorant.")

Everyone locked at some point, remember the whole 'Protest' that lasted up until CCP 'Fixed' locking? Of course you don't.
We don't lock now, and DNS wasn't even a thing when we did.
The reason why DNS had such an easy job at getting the % of dominance it has now is because of how stupid and lazy the community was in the past.
Everytime we attacked a corporation that was not AE, we were always told to prepare because AE could show. Why? Because the corporation we attacked only wanted to farm. They had no intentions of fielding their own players, they had no intentions on learning from their losses, and now its all come back to them. Of course there are always a few exceptions.
Once all the major merc corps blued, that was it for those that liked to hire us, their players didn't have the experience and they were stomped.
We're doing the same thing as those corps, but this time we're reaping the benefits.
See how it all works out in the end, we've made Molden Heath our personal ISK printing machine, and the only corps that can do anything about it are the ones that fielded their own players. (As we can see from how well WTF and 0H have been performing even under the pressure they are)
He verbatum just called DNS a bunch of protostomping ISK farming pieces of s**t and that he's proud of what they're doing to make this game s**t. This is why these fucks deserve NO mercy.

Yep, and if you feel so strongly about it, then do something about it.
But until you people all stop talking about it, and take action then this is how it will remain.
You just opened the portal to Hell.

Oswald Rehnquist wrote:I kind of think DNS / PC mechanics is going to be a thorn in the development for dust for a while, though not due to logic that their isk fountain gives them unlimited proto stomping abilities. I'm sure that of those that get paid, 50-75% of them could stay positive in proto without the isk fountain, they attack in packs and with tactics, essentially they know the formula for success. Also DNS is acting perfectly within New Eden codes and ethics, so nothing against the players.
The real issue is 2 fold, creating a perfect storm of sorts.
1) I don't see the implementation of any player market ever becoming viable under current mechanics. Eve has multiple successful forms of isk generation, Dust does not. What this means is that we all all in the same competitive pool in Dust compared to EVE or in the real world which we operate in separate competitive circles. Mission running, mining, and exploration affords Eve some stability in balancing out demands and needs. The Dust economy would be so erratic, due to the fact that we are all in the same singular competitive pool, as there really is only one end game in dust. Should the popular pc fits use the same crafting material as the other weapons/suits/equipment, then expect non pc ready fits (unique/fun fits) to suffer, making non pc fights less viable. Also the potential erratic behavior of Dust is thy number one reason why the eve connection is lacking.
2) Dust enthusiasm is relatively low at this point, I'm guilty of being gone for some time now myself (dark souls 2 / Thief). The desire/ability of the community to dethrone is relatively gone. Isk and energy are needed, and the isk attrition department is no longer competitive (the larger the group the much more difficult is is to organize, thus less effective), thus it almost boils down entirely to zerging with energy/effort, and needless to say pc players were in pc to begin with because they have more of it to begin with, and 32 good dust players can deny 1000 above average dust players given the right circumstances (unheard of in EVE). Back in EoN days we had threads uniting a whole bunch of small/med corps just to raise hell against EoN, which helped the big underdog corps, but this is no longer the case, and defending has been boosted since those days. Also the psychological effect of the blue donut's presence solidifies the phenomena since the community is all the wiser to pc mechanics now.
Essentially, the solutions to dust's woes are suspected to be far far down the developing line, requiring real alternative isk avenues for the game to keep the economy balanced and to keep the gameplay options varied (different competitive pools). As it stands, unless Fanfest reveals something of this nature, Dust is going to have to rely on new toys to bide its time during the dry spell.
You're probably the most intelligent person I've ever met on the DUST forums. Probably smarter than me. Your point is valid and, well, something ought to be changed about this. We need more ways to earn ISK (hiring ourselves out to corporations for PC battles is kind of out of the equation now), not want. Sure, you can run MLT/Std gear in public matches for a really long time, but your contribution to your team will be low, if not irrelevant--save if you are a very good player--due to the amount of Blackberries** running around. Trust me, I've tried it. Dragonfly Assault with an assault rifle against an MH-82 stacked plate Amarr sentinel never turns out well. This game has lost any actual Capitalistic functioning, and has more or less turned into a disgusting version of the Caldari State... a corporate dictatorship.
**: Blackberry - a teammate/enemy that is running prototype gear.
