No proto skilled fits.
Of course I've run the "Federation" proto gear just to see what its like; but all in all the core skills have sucked up almost every bit of SP I've earned.
Anyone else got high SP but not rocking PRO suits? |

20 mil SP sounds a bit low to me :-)
Good for you investing in your core skills and I assume you have plenty of isk when you do go full proto.
Do forget the light, heavy and sidearm skills to reduce the CPU costs of fitting so you can fit your suits for max effect. |

I have plenty of proto stuff, I just never use it. It's too expensive and I don't see my playing improve proportionally to the cost. Why go 30-2/3 with proto (-300-450k for some of my fits) when I can go 20-5 with my STD fits?

It takes roughly 12mil sp to max out core skills and get a proto medium role specific suit and a proto weapon.

27 million SP on main, only reach prof. 5 on HMG, AR and Scr. Pistol though. Cores are comfortably maxed nearly, I have no regrets. |

When I hit 20 mil SP I don't think I had any proto suits either. I had 5 to ADV though, not super smart. Fixed that with the 1.8 refund. I did have 3-4 weapons to proto, but even still, now that I just hit 30 mil, I still never run proto, too expensive. BPO's and ADV suits with the level 5 bonuses are the way to go.

34 Million SP and 3 Proto Suits. Will get my 4th soon. Core Skills are maxed out and I also have 3 weapons on Proto level (but only 1 with decent support skills).

20 mil- would have left my suit at ADV but you really don't see much benefit from scout bonuses without Scout V. I had no proto suits prior to 1.8, but now I gotta have that cloak fitting reduction.

Grey has 2 protos and all cores maxed. Covert has 13 million and proto Min scout, almost lvl 4 Logi and lvl 3 on the cores bar repair and hacking which are 5.
my intention on this merc is to max out all Matari gear so I have a LONG ass road ahead of me. I already have the next 5 months of skill training planned out. #nerd
