as a matter of fact, I can't even begin to tell you how stupid that comment is and how wrong it is. If you don't believe me come fly in molden heath for a district fight. I'll wait.....

Well DNS Showed up finally with a better fleet. Was really surprised, they killed my one ship...I killed one of theirs, they just brought too many good ships, for you Dust players, we had militia suits, they were all proto.
Though I believe the reason they actually showed up had more to do with the fact they were losing face in this topic. Half the members were former RA pilots, which as stated I said I had respect for.
No matter the reason, they showed up, so credit is due.
Though I think it's funny they got trapped by pirates.
Prepared for the op: 1 hour Moved to the location: 10 minutes Sat on district: 15 minutes Left stuck in a system due to pirates: 30+ Minutes
I'm sure DNS pilots will get use to enjoying that routine.

What this actually means: Despite DNS's HUGE EVE side which is often a bragging point for most alliances with an EVE side. DNS Simply can't convince their pilots to show up in Molden Heath.
This could be an underlying problem with CCP not having good enough incentives for people to partake in these battles, but I believe the problem resonates from a deeper issue. It takes a special type of EVE player to legitimately care about DUST, DNS has a few, most of them are former members of RA, but for the most part, DNS Pilots just don't care about DUST, and why should they. There is no fun one shooting a destroyer, or watching a warp core stabilized destroyer warp away safely. There is no fun for the support fleet who shows up and doesn't drop any orbitals and waits on a quiet empty beacon because their enemy underestimated them and didn't show up with a proper force.
While the actual battle was lost by Top Men. (by no more than 15 or so clones) there was a victory in the sky, a victory that proved having a huge EVE side, is not the same as having an active EVE side that cares about DUST.
It has become apparent, that DNS as a whole doesn't care about DUST.
So fear not, coordinate with "Rebellion" leaders and they will ensure that DNS doesn't bug you guys during your match and if you have a pilot capable of dropping OB's we'll safe guard him too.
DNS may now begin their smack talk.
*Edit, I still have respect for the former RA EVE pilots. Hats off to what you do for your guys.
Care to rephrase any of this after tonights demonstration of commitment? It appears, that the members of Cap and Mercs EVE side do NOT care about dust...as they failed to show up. We had 25 members in our fleet.

The former RA pilots and new joins are the only ones that care.

Ya...fleet doubled in size...we were hoping you would be there to enjoy the fun...but..you docked up, then logged off. Was a GF in space. Great support from DNS pilots, Thank you all for showing.

Roman I've worked with both of you, I'd be willing to state that Ex-RA/NF pilots like you care 100% more than the DNS guys, I mean why should the DNS guys care other than for fights?

Sorry I came out to engage you guys, came to the district, almost killed the orbital support if it wasn't for those damn logi's, you all docked up, then I went off to spend time with my fianc+¬, I guess you guys fought 7-2 while I was gone, would have loved to have been there, but after the PC our pilots (mostly from the EU time zone) were tired and logged off.
Like I said I only credit former RA members. I still maintain that DNS pilots really don't care.

The more you run your mouth and make excuses, the more care you create. The more you get the relevant forces (7-2) involved, the more you pique the interests of those that have other things to do. Like all decentralized groups, DNS members display a wide array of feelings towards the dust fights. You are doing a great job aligning those feelings.
We have been straight up with broader DNS... We have told them our teams don't need OBs to stomp any one of your teams. They continue to show up regardless, because once in a while a solid opportunity presents itself and it is great for building unity within the organization.
Perhaps I will change the timers yet later, so that I might take advantage of the intel you have shared with me. We might not even show up next time though. Have fun wit the late nights bud. I think ill do that now. |

Still Hats off to the former RA guys,
You guys maintained orbital superiority, but like I said, you won't always have fleets like that, 9/10 you only have former RA guys, not the DNS people who showed up probably as a direct result of this thread or maybe it was our fleet beating yours twice in a row, who knows... so brag all you want and savor your "victory" (you lost the isk war thanks to the kitsune pilot/we lost the isk war on the ground, but that was to be expected with only 120 clones)

I'm glad my smack talk made DNS Pilots suddenly care more (because they didn't) and DNS Black pay more attention.
But seriously, participation on DNS's side was most likely a direct result of this thread. As soon as the match was over my mailbox had this:
"From: Julius Romulus Liskus Sent: 2014.04.15 01:49 To: Matthew Dust,
Hope you update your forum posts, for DNS fleet dedication."
Take care guys! Looking forward to when my fleet is as strong as yours.
