We made Proficiency V with VC, Paradox, and 0.H. Good balance in my eyes. Renegade bloated adding 2 more corps DDB and Cap Ac. Then on the eve of 1.7 war broke out.

DDB was stronger BEFORE 1.7 but was worthless after.

And it was a terrible judge of balance. During the winter war anon automatically crumbled and it was DDB (a weaker opponent than ANON when comparing their primes) AE, and NS's small contribution vs VC, OH, and PX1.

This attitude is the problem. The players that are pushing this forward are more concerned with their inflated egos than anything else, yet they have the gall to frame it as a philanthropic campaign. It isn't, CCP has a roadmap, they don't need a bunch of detours because a few abusive backseat drivers are tearing up the car until they get their way. How about we continue with that analogy? We're in Nashville and we need to stop in Atlanta on our way to Miami, but these guys want to go to Orlando NOW, so now CCP has to make a huge detour to run through Orlando before the the guys in the backseat tear the car up any worse, then they have to head all the way back to Atlanta again.
