What do find yourself doing most, enjoying most? What role feels the most like you?
Personally, although I stink at this game in general, I try to tilt and rearrange the battlefield for my team as an infiltrator scout. I hack, drop uplinks, and get killed as little as possible. Occasionally, I get a kill, but it sure ain't my strong point.
If you don't see me, it's because I'm not where you're looking.
I'd rather be unscannable than invisible.

I run solo. so mostly assault ninja, But im messing with the commando for defending objectives.
Im not from new eden. I dont need back up, political power or support. I, unlike you dont fear nuetral territory.

Anything that doesn't involve vehicles or heavy weapons at this point.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

By using my medium frames ability to have a high scan profile and to be squishy with no resistances I am able to locate enemies for my squad by attracting their bullets to my face.
Switzerland is small and neutral. We're more like Germany. Ambitious and misunderstood.

Lots of equipment destruction, throwing REs on tanks, hacking, and killing pesky players like snipers/forgegunners/other scouts.

ADS Pilot.
It's the only thing I truly enjoy in Dust. It can be very rewarding, but also has the most risk associated with it (out of all the vehicles at least). You bring out one Python and all of a sudden half the enemies have AV. :|
I would fly more often, but my wallet really hurts. :(

Usually a tactical logi with uplinks, but also do full logi work.
Also infiltrator/assassin scout and backup AV with particle cannon tanks.
Always the last person to leave. Always the one cleaning up people's messes.

We are a lot alike.
Although that is my most common role I find that I need to make scout fits that perform other roles as well.
Tactician = *read your own post*
Rogue = Well-rounded assassin
Recon = Slayer + recon
Enforcer = Anti tank
Ghost = Recon Sniper
Medic = Light Logi (have yet to actually use in battle)
Having such a variety allows my to make the necessary adjustments to help my team in almost any situation.

That's what I tend to do. It's called engineering the battlefield. I scout ahead in an LAV, drop links, run a vehicle scanner and get rid of enemy links if possible. The cloak comes in much more handily for that. I try to use a scout for what a scout is GÇô to scout.
I usually don't run in a group but if I do then I can also report activity.
It's the same thing I enjoyed in EVE GÇô the interceptor scout and tackler.
Brick tanking a scout suit since April 2013!

Same as you, but I prefer to call it a utility scout.
Amarr and Minmatar scouts are definitely best for the job.
