Personally, although I stink at this game in general, I try to tilt and rearrange the battlefield for my team as an infiltrator scout. I hack, drop uplinks, and get killed as little as possible. Occasionally, I get a kill, but it sure ain't my strong point. If you don't see me, it's because I'm not where you're looking. I'd rather be unscannable than invisible.

I won't categorically tell you to not use the medic, but let's just say it generates bad memories in me. If you don't see me, it's because I'm not where you're looking. I scout ahead in an LAV, drop links, run a vehicle scanner and get rid of enemy links if possible. The cloak comes in much more handily for that. I try to use a scout for what a scout is GÇô to scout. I usually don't run in a group but if I do then I can also report activity. It's the same thing I enjoyed in EVE GÇô the interceptor scout and tackler. Brick tanking a scout suit since April 2013!

I play logi, but I always seem to see things that should be done and no one else is doing them, so I do that. This usually gets me out of synch with my squad and team, meaning I die a lot and am probably not really being effective, but if I see we should be retaking an objective in Skirmish I run over there drop some links and try to retake it, if we need a heavy to defend a point I do that. Most of the time my squad and team seem to think it is more important to be somewhere else. An individualist logi isn't much of a role, but I guess that is what I am. Because, that's why.

But most often I flank, drop an uplink or two in a hidden position and then do my best to decimate te enemy flank. A well-placed combination of mass driver and combat rifle rounds are quite good at that...especially when the enemy is focused on something in front of them and my fire is all coming from behind them. The only time I have been successfully thwarted at that is when the enemy snipers had a heavy babysit them. Then Scouts start flanking me, making me mad, so I pull out my Duvolle Focused Scanning suit, and hide in a corner the rest of the match. Of course I still get errors because some ****** went Gal Scout with 2 Comp. Dampners- mega crutch. Of course this assumes someone had tanks under control. Certain corps ( Duna, Nyain, etc) pull out Proto Turret tanks, forcing me to pull out my missile tank to do damage control. All in all this is not fun anymore. I hate having to find squads, I just want to run solo sometimes, but that's not good unless you're a scout or a tanker. If I want easy mode I pull out my Gallente Scout- what a joke, this is not hard to kill with at ALL. And nothing can scan me which is funny.

In Eve we have Hero Tacklers that selflessly hold a valued target in place. Dust Hero Medics blocking enemy fire with their own bodies as they needle someone. But this.... is this the birth of the Hero Scanner? Yes Dunk. Throw precision enhancers on that Frame. You need five. That way you can take a bullet and help the squad at the same time. So far, my character is building into a "Jack of all Trades, Master at None." I have Minmatar Commando, Amarr Assault, both proto. Level 1 Operation in AT LEAST every weapon, except Nova Knives(I will NEVER touch a scout, screw them. I can't do it, too headstrong, for that stuff.) I plan to get Proto Amarr Commando as well, so my proto'd laser weapons get the boost they deserve. But right now, my strongest suit seems to be my Amarr Assault. I break your sheilds in an instant with a Viziam Scrambler, then I finish you off with a Bolt Pistol. Just like I do with most things in real life, I break it down as fast as I can, then I finish it off with a single shot. Quick, efficient, and deadly. o3o Your face is something to shoot, so I will shoot. Don't be offended, I do it to everyone. Commandoooo punch! >:D

Most of the time my squad and team seem to think it is more important to be somewhere else. An individualist logi isn't much of a role, but I guess that is what I am. I hear you fellow bloodthirsty logi bro. I often look around and ask myself, "Why am I the only pushing up on the objective?". Clearly I was born to be an assault but with so few people on the field running log now someone has to do it.

Preferably with someone. Try to snag out-laying enemy hack-points or counter attack them trying to take ours. Hunt snipers who have left the red-line, kill people sight-seeing/hiking outside the pertinent combat zones, dance with HAVs , hang with red or blue Dropships, etc, etc. Everything you'd expect from Death-Race 514. I'll change suit to suit the flow of battle and take on more of a slayer role if necessary (though poorly), but shaping the battle space is my preference. Knowledge is power

If we are getting murdered by vehicles, I try AV (which means a sica w/ railguns or a scout with remotes. actual AV isn't worth it) If we have no uplinks I run a logi. If it seems like we have a balanced team, and we are out in the open, I run assault or commando. If it is a slug fest, I run sentinel. If we are getting stomped then scout. Fixing swarms

I start out with a scout, drop some uplinks, hack some objectives, when I die I change to suit, bring the ammo, proximity explosives, point defence or Forge gun for vehicles. You just gotta be versatile. Part time Logi, Full time heavy.
