We here at AE understand that many players are upset with the current status of Planetary Conquest. While we will not apologize for our continuing pursuit of excellence and the goal of holding of100% of Molden Heath we do understand and appreciate the concerns of those whom desire competition at the highest levels. We understand that you feel the current systems (Clone pack) in place do not give a fair opportunity for you to show your abilities and even if they did it would not be economically viable. In an effort to offer this opportunity without the fear of loss we are very pleased to introduce the Ancient Exiles 128 Million ISK Challenge. - Ancient Exiles will be Q-syncing 16 person teams in Amarr Faction Warfare at the times and date(s) listed above. - During this period of time we will be offering 32 Million ISK (2 Million per player) to any corporation, team, or group of players whom is able to defeat a 16 player team of ours. Victory can be by either Clone or MCC destruction. - The Event is limited to a total 4 losses for the grand total of 128 Million ISK. - Any ISK not handed out to competing teams will be rewarded to AE players whom participated (i.e if we donGÇÖt lose 4 times our players get the balance of ISK ) - We will be entering matches at random will not be q-syncing against any specific opposing teams - Players currently in DNS or Negative Feedback at the time of this post are not eligible for the reward. This event is intended for those outside of current PC to test and prove themselves. DNS & NF corps have other means to do this. I encourage any groups whom feel they would like to test themselves against a top tier PC team, have a grudge against AE, or simply want a chance at a little extra ISK to put together a team and compete against us. We look forward to what we hope is a night full of challenges and strong competition.

Well because AE destroyed any remote chance of PCs between corps, it looks like they're trying to get factional PCs going(at least that's what it looks like). If you lose in factional and die quite a bit, you get penalized far more than for losing a district in PCs.

If we can get the community behind this, we would like for everyone outside of DNS to lend their voices to call for team deploy in FW. - PC is an ISK investment for some corps - PC has no 'instant gratification' since it can take a day or two for your battle to start - PC is subject to timers By having team deploy in FW, people can have fun going against each other anytime they wish and makes it a viable alternative to simple pub matches. AE feels that this is something that will help the game while CCP fixes PC and we think this event might help to gain some interest in it. Also, this will help newer corps to train their FCs, gain experience in PC-like situations, and have some fun. We are hoping that this will go beyond just AE or DNS and other corps will start q-syncing with each other once they realize it can be alot of fun and a good way to solidify corp cohesiveness. A real shame. 2m ISK is the equivalent of the amount of vehicles pilots would lose in said match if trying. So anyone on the opposing side using them (Speaking about (muh) derpships and (muh) skilled tankers)) would have no benefit in participating even with a full squad. Oh well. Dropships need a buff. Also, the reason for the DNS clause is because as the current holders of the vast majority of PC we have the means (Districts) to schedule these kind of battles ourselves in a much more effective manner. Our hope was to give players whom did not have a desire to spend ISK on the frankly ineffective clone packs a means to test their capabilities in full team battles and encourage more group play. Please note Canari's post. This is the inaugural event and we will make changes as needed for future events. One other thing that I would like to mention that while I have listed a set of basic ground rules for our event I have at my discretion the ability and the willingness to reward players or corporations whom show great skill, perseverance, and determination even if their efforts result in a loss.

Can you define push? We did blue up. We fought vs. FA,ERA, and a few others. For a month...at the end it was relativity a group of 40 guys...every battle. PC is always what was except instead of fighting we are not. This change affects only the 40 guys we were fighting...literally everyone posting here, it changed nothing for you. You can still buy a clone pack and attack anyone in PC. This is only an attempt to end boredom and allow a "cheaper" method of fighting PC. We will change this to maximize fun for all parties. I could see the payout easily doubling or even being rewarded for good fights...even losses. The pressure it takes and numbers for a good group of 16 players to own a district is rough...but to q-sync against us and fight for a night...much simpler. Once again amendments will be made to make this a fun night...fun playing video games is my personal goal here.

They can't q-sync against you because they likely went end up in the same match. They can't draw on N-F/DNS resources to help and the ISK is just going back to AE because you'll win all 4 times. The payout that is offered is to encourage opponents to use their high end gear in the matches. The format of this is to resemble the payouts offered for winning a PC battle and nothing more or less. This is not about paying people to play AE members. Again, you can choose to see this as a fun thing where you can gain experience for you corp members and FCs with only the cost of the equipment you use (and the chance of getting a payout) or you can sit on the forums and try to find the bad in everything. They will be in pubs and fw regardless - PC is going to be stagnant until CCP makes some radical changes (hopefully coming with next named build) - Aside from the scenario proposed, you would receive the same meager payouts for pub/fw matches - Without PC, you will see more corps queue syncing in FW anyway This isnt just supposed to be AE either. We fully encourage all corps to set up queue syncs against others in FW. All we are doing is trying to get the ball rolling by offering an incentive to put your teams together. Couldnt agree with you more And obviously the big problem here is that when squads pull out that leaves the Minmatar side with a huge advantage until new players arrive, thus having the Amarr lose the district. I'm not sure if overall district control is something AE cares about, but I'd urge everyone to resist backing out of matches just because your q-sync failed. Amarr are the good guys.

Just completed a session with PIE Ground Control. This AE event seems to of brought a lot of Minmatar syncers, the matches have been really fun. Also Defenders of the Helghast Dream managed to knock our capsuleer out with two of their own, first time I've really seen Minmatar with EVE support. Didn't help them much though Amarr are the good guys.

This will grow and change as the event does. We do realize there are improvements needed. There were lots of good suggestions tonight within the Corp. In a game mode called Planetary Conquest it appears that we are well on our way to the Conquest part. Now people can say we did this, we did that and I'll agree. All we did was take the guys that were fighting each other every night 5-6 times and put them under one umbrella. If you were not in on those fights each night, then it should not affect you. PS: Many of us in AE don't spend alot of time playing together besides in PC... we had a great expereience being able to have around 24 of us chill together (rotating) and are looking forward to the 2nd round of this event. I can't address the lag issue, but might suggest the mass driver... It's how I personally overcome lag issues in PC... lol Trading Carrots for Isk! Come and Get em!
