Ancient Exiles Corporation is pleased to announce that on Saturday, April the 5th we will be hosting the first of what we hope are many events that give back to the Dust 514 Community.
We here at AE understand that many players are upset with the current status of Planetary Conquest. While we will not apologize for our continuing pursuit of excellence and the goal of holding of100% of Molden Heath we do understand and appreciate the concerns of those whom desire competition at the highest levels. We understand that you feel the current systems (Clone pack) in place do not give a fair opportunity for you to show your abilities and even if they did it would not be economically viable.
In an effort to offer this opportunity without the fear of loss we are very pleased to introduce the Ancient Exiles 128 Million ISK Challenge.
- Ancient Exiles will be Q-syncing 16 person teams in Amarr Faction Warfare at the times and date(s) listed above.
- During this period of time we will be offering 32 Million ISK (2 Million per player) to any corporation, team, or group of players whom is able to defeat a 16 player team of ours. Victory can be by either Clone or MCC destruction.
- The Event is limited to a total 4 losses for the grand total of 128 Million ISK.
- Any ISK not handed out to competing teams will be rewarded to AE players whom participated (i.e if we donGÇÖt lose 4 times our players get the balance of ISK )
- We will be entering matches at random will not be q-syncing against any specific opposing teams
- Players currently in DNS or Negative Feedback at the time of this post are not eligible for the reward. This event is intended for those outside of current PC to test and prove themselves. DNS & NF corps have other means to do this.
I encourage any groups whom feel they would like to test themselves against a top tier PC team, have a grudge against AE, or simply want a chance at a little extra ISK to put together a team and compete against us. We look forward to what we hope is a night full of challenges and strong competition. |

Yes. Basically a PC style match with a PC style payout. Just like PC you don't get paid if you lose. |

More than likely. Also, the reason for the DNS clause is because as the current holders of the vast majority of PC we have the means (Districts) to schedule these kind of battles ourselves in a much more effective manner. Our hope was to give players whom did not have a desire to spend ISK on the frankly ineffective clone packs a means to test their capabilities in full team battles and encourage more group play. Please note Canari's post.
This is the inaugural event and we will make changes as needed for future events.
One other thing that I would like to mention that while I have listed a set of basic ground rules for our event I have at my discretion the ability and the willingness to reward players or corporations whom show great skill, perseverance, and determination even if their efforts result in a loss. |

As stated in the OP we will not apologize for attempting to conquer all the planets in a game mode called GÇ£Planetary ConquestGÇ¥. We understand that several corporations found that they were unable to be competitive once they could no longer abuse an Exploit and district locking was finally fixed but that is an issue to be addressed with CCP not us.
There are currently several corporations that Q-sync Faction warfare. The only difference is that we are telling you were and when and offering additional compensation. You can come fight us or you can run away.
Your choice.
Meta-Game it however you would like.

Thank you to everyone who participated. We enjoyed the opportunity to play against many new faces. We also took the opportunity to reward several players and groups whom showed great skill, effort, or perseverance. We also appreciate the support we received from the Eve side.
