Can you really look at the events of the last few months, and say that the people predicting the demise of this game were "entitled brats"? The people who claimed this supposedly released game was in fact a beta? It looks like they were pretty spot on. Even the VP of Product Development for CCP has admitted this game isn't very good.

So if they were spot on, how come then they reacted the way they did? If you see the ship sinking, why be surprised when it is sunk.

And about the game not being very good, that's interesting. Since the majority of what the game is today is due to community feedback. We don't say that though.

Many still had hope in CCP and reacted badly to being betrayed.

I am trying to understand how anyone could get so upset over a "free game". I , for one, am happy to fight with my corp mates on this "free game". The fact that I have have made so many friends internationally, really blows my mind. ON A "FREE GAME". I think if you sink money into a "free game" your foolish. Everyone in our corp is disappointed at what is probably happening to Dust, but we will continue to play and have fun with each others company until the end. The fact that CCP made promises about the longevity of the game did not come to fruition is dissappointing but it is a business they have to run, and I bet there are employees the have to pay. A free game is exactly that. Free. IF you expceted something for nothing, wow.

We are just two different people Jung. If a game is not working out for me, I leave. I don't hold bitter grudges because I have a life outside of Dust 514.

There are other things in life that holds more value that makes my life wonderful that I would rage and fight for like how guys are doing here about Dust.

I just don't have the time for that. I don't say, "Oh I'm leaving, **** Dust" and then return with "Oh I love this game, I'm sticking around"

You know why? Because I'm honest with myself. I look at things objectively. I wasn't a kid to pitch fits to get what I wanted.

I understand this is video game. It doesn't pay my bills. It's not my job. It's not my wife. It's not my kids. It's something that I can let go because its a video game. It doesn't shape my life or control my emotions.

There are far too many important things that are of value to me that I would expel my energy for. Dust isn't going to be one of em.

The truth is, I don't like how they presented it. The truth is, I still love Dust despite what they did or said at Fanfest. The truth is, I would still play Legion on PC.

That is the truth to me. So is it worth me raging and causing stress in my life? **** no. Is it worth me trying to convince other people, if I were mad, to leave with me? **** no. That's my personal decision. If I was that upset with CCP and Dust, I would have left these forums without a goodbye thread/announcement. I would be playing some other game like I have done for 26 years of my life. And all would be forgotten.

The truth? So you never really loved the game like I did. You never paid for playing it either. You never got inspired as I did by CCP's ideas. Think my descision of biomassing was easy? Me and a few in the community have spread the word of DUST like no other player.. and that was purely for the love and vision of CCP. But like so many other true veterans I do feel fkd over now. And as a man of principles (something you'll learn about once you get older and stop with stupid LOL based personal attacks). If you didnt notice I didnt make a thread when I quit. It was a silent protest as I felt big shame for having made people who watched the stream buy a PS3 simply for DUST. And another thing... Since I did pay quite an amount of money and time for this game for then to feel royally fkd....how could it ever be easy to leave the forums just because I "dont play it anymore?" You really cant grasp the bigger issue here? I've wanted a game like DUST+EVE ever since playing Elite. Legion is coming sure, but CCP havent really reassured the PS3 crowd of anything.
