I gave up three rounds later with one kill with it, and I've yet to see it on the killfeed. The magsec and ion pistols are much, much better sidearms, IMO. The charged shot mechanic makes the bolt pistol virtually useless -- as identified by the OP, it simply has too low a DPS to finish off anything but the almost-dead.

Maybe if you're 5m away. In fact, if you aim at a tank 5m away that is moving, you will miss, because the projectile is that slow. Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives. DUST514514

That would be much better then what we have now I would also like to see the operation skill changed as recoil resets before every shot so it dosent have much use Mabey charge time reduction? Also the bolt pistols range bug needs a fix bad

Its the DPS thats to low 210 DPS for a weapon that requires alot of skill is not good It either needs its charge time inbetween shots removed or damage at basic upped to 200 Operation skill should also be 5% reduction a charge time since recoil reset between each shot anyway
