The bolt pistol has a fire intervel of .4 which means it should have a rof of 150 However, since you have to charge up the gun before each shot that adds a additional .25s between shots. This means its .65s between each shot or 92.3 RPM Lets look at the advanced bolt pistol The advanced bolt pistol does 141.75 damage per shot With these 2 stats you can find the dps 141.75 x 92.3 = 13083.525 13083.535/60 = 218.06 DPS 218.06 DPS... Thats terrible, thats even lower than the ion pistol! Combine that with the range glitch the bolt pistol has and it makes it even worse! I really want this pistol to be good, i mean its a friggin space revolver! My recomendation to make the bolt pistol a more balenced weapon is to remove the charge between shots and only require the charge on the first shot just like on the rail rifle and the magsec, this would give it a DPS of 354.38 which is much more in line with the other sidearms.

This made me wonder because according to the dev blog the Bolt should be Full automatic...so the charge should only be needed when you start firing... Yep

Plasma Rifle has the lowest range by far, but only marginaly more DPS, sometimes even less, and sometimes much less. It's a skill based weapon, missing even a single shot drastically reduces it's TTK so it deserves a higher DPS

It still has massively more range, even if it's a skill based weapon. Edit: 205 damage per shot. Sounds fair? That would be much better then what we have now I would also like to see the operation skill changed as recoil resets before every shot so it dosent have much use Mabey charge time reduction? Also the bolt pistols range bug needs a fix bad

Im thinking somewhere around 330 at proto would be good, but at basic, it needs to be around 270 The basic smg does 350 dps exactly The magsec does 355 at basic for only 5 less meters of optimal range The bolt pistol needs to do at least as much dps or very close to the same DPS or theres no reason to use it considering how much more difficult to use it is compared to spray and pray guns.
