As if heavy's hopping out of LAVs and mowing me down wasn't bad enough, now they can sneak up on me and mow me down.
This game has been ruined by cloak.
Precision enhancement simply isn't strong enough to counter the power of cloaks.

Really?
Because I've yet to be killed by a cloak user while paying attention. The blue outlining is bright enough to be seen from a good 100m (Manus Peak confirmed this).
If the Cloaks are really scaring you, get a Mass Driver.

Cloak is easily the new FoTG and it's only been a couple hours haha.
Also, this patch already has so many bugs. ::sigh:: Not even going to bother getting worked up haha, it simply is not worth it

If cloak is the reason you are dying, you need to pay the **** attention, only died once to a cloak user and its only due to the fact i thought i was hitting the objective shield when i was actually hitting the cloakers (only popped 2 shots to check for movement, they were smart and stayed absolutly still)
And heavies cant even use cloak, well not effectivly, they will melt like butter under a hot knife if they try too. |

1) It should be basic rule for all frames to level up all scanning skills. That's why it's connected to a Core Skill. Unless you have the huge bonus applied by Precision Enhancement skills (which you don't if you aren't scanning anyone), don't say Precision Enhancement can't scan anyone.
2) ALong with Precision Enhancement, get Range Amplifiers. The base range for all suits is 10m. Not very much. I forget what the range is when the skill is maxed, but it's decent.
3) Remember that if Heavies have a cloak, they don't have much else besides that and their gun. Cloaks apparently have LOADS of CPU/PG requirements, and when they're fit on Scouts, the Scout automatically reduces those requirements*.
*I personally think they should have gone the route that Exploration Ships (Basically Scanner Scouts) went in EVE. Cloaks have tons and tons and tons of CPU (to the point where you can't fit them on anything without sacrificing all of your modules and a sidearm...), but the Scout Suit has a 100% CPU reduction on Cloaks. Done.

Has this happened? No because sentinels dont have equipment and commandos dont have more hp then tanked medium suits.

I dunno yet. Just had two battles and saw three people using it easily. First one I saw standing in front of me by a few yards and shot at them. They got away. The third one I saw standing still waiting for another player and I shot him a few times then headshot.
Can't tell how I feel about others using it, yet. But I AM upset about something else not related to this. |

I posted this entry after testing a gallente scout with x3 complex range amplifiers and x2 complex precision enhancers. It goes without saying lvl 5 precision enhancement and range amplification.

Yes. That's how you have to check for people if you have a Scan Range higher than 100m.

Then I don't know what's wrong with you. It's a HEAVY for pete's sake. Try out the Caldari Scout then. OR stop fitting your Gallente Scout to be stupid, and use the bonus like you should be using it. Cloak and Dampeners. Let Caldari do the Anti-Scout.

My screen is about 10 feet diag, so I don't think that is the problem. With all of the rubber banding, jagged terrain glitches and lag, invisibility is difficult to detect without TACNET.
