 Everyone will live proportionally longer. It just changes pacing and playstyle, sure you have more time to react to someone but the person who is shooting you also has more time to react to you turning.
 
 You will not die as quickly to getting jumped. That is plain true.
 The TTK adjustment will primarily result in more fights occuring face-to-face and is likely to make 1vs1 fights less common as your teammates have slightly longer to support. The TTK adjustments are definitely a move in the right direction.

 One could argue that people can survive longer in non-proto suits and could perform relatively well now that engagements will be decided by skill (or at least more so than before) At the moment, if a competent militia AR gets the drop on a proto logi, they're dead before they turn round.
 
 Tomorrow, if a competent militia AR gets the drop on a proto logi, they'll have three seconds to turn round and destroy them at their leisure.
 
 Not what I'd call engagements getting 'decided by skill'.

 No, overall time to kill is increased which means noone will suffer anything, its the same as it was before only slower for everyone which is going to be more fun, to not die in half a second, and to get the feeling that the suits are something powerful and high-tech. TTK is overall thing for the entire game. Because at the moment everything feels just too hectic and fast. That's just what I think is the meaning behind TTK in games.

 What about the feeling that our guns are supposed to be powerful and high tech
 And hell if you dont want things to be hectic and fast paced why are you playing a shooter? The slowest shooters I can think of are the old Rainbow Six games before Vegas and even then the actual engagements were quick and decisive with only the lead up being slow
 
 Actually that reminds me of Dark Souls combat, I think Ill just play that even more instead of this

 in 1.7.. mlt had horrible ttk. proto was a massive increase in ttk. but still with such a large gap it was possible for a highly skilled mlt player/mlt vet.... to kill a proto scrub...
 
 come 1.8 proto scrubs get their god mode suit back and mlt will infact almost undoubtedly require a tank or heavy suit to kill some1 in proto gear. because a mlt ar just aint gonna cut it. when they will almost certainly require 2 fire 2 whole clips in order to kill some1 like how it was pre uprising. so basicaly ground combat has become more unbalanced between the tiers with such a large blanket nerf. with out considering current obtainable hp values for higher tierd suits and such.

 CCP also made the starter fits use the weakest and shortest ranged rifles.
