Seriously, how much better than all of the rest of the suits does minmatar have to be before you guys quit with your B.S. QQing? the fact that you get slowed when hit and all weapons have aim assist other than gimped ones, your post is nullified. Caldari has most CPU, we just get least Pg, and second least CPU only to gallants. The assault doesn't get the explosive bonus, and i would encourage you to use a minnie (gimped) scout before you complain about how OP nova knives are LOL

Run what you feel fits your play-style. There are no rules saying you have to play a certain race or role. Fight the Way you want to fight.
I have always been a minmatar guy tho. Combat Rifle and Mass Driver fit my play styles and now im am getting suits with bonuses to weapons that i use and know how to use. The assault bonus for clip is great for the fire rate for CR and SMG. Damage bonus for MD and CR through commando. Not much of a heavy guy but the Minnie sentinel does seem like crap however I think it'll be a decent speed heavy with high regen stamina. However, i feel many will be caught off guard when a minnie shows up early to a party while the other sentinels are still hoofing in.
The only fault i see is that the assault suit slot layout. It does not make sense for minmatar to have 5 high slots. Something like that feels native for caldari that relies on shields and rechargers (both in highs). Minmatar relies on dual tanking to a degree to offset to low ehp and the ability to tank both or tank one end gives it versatility like no other suits can. Just like it can in EVE. A 4H 3L slots on minnie proto would make wonders. Boosting base shield and pg on min and boost cpu on Cal. BUT OF COURSE CCP LOGIC FOR GAME BALANCE IS THE BEST!!!.....right?

I love my Min Commando. I just wish that instead of going straight to adv I had stayed basic and used the remaining SP to get core upgrades and elec/eng to 5. Because then I'd be able to run a basic suit completely filled with advanced weapons, equipment, and modules.
But as it is I'm very happy. |
