Yep, the anti-Japanese Coalition gets to drain their wallets with clone pack attacks. Couldn't ask for a better outcome. Lots of fun matches and fun logistical work to boot.
Really got to see the Dust community come together for a common cause. Not sure why you guys hate the Japanese so much.

This has happened once before, you know. I remember high-spirits on the side of the defenders then, as well. And I also remember them eventually losing everything.
Oh look, it's the same group of players. I wonder how it will turn out this time? |

Disclosing strategy that I should not ....
It was agreed beforehand to win with less than 100 clones to extend the attack for the weekend, Kain, your team is good but we think short and long term, we are trying to involve more corps in PC, and it's working.
It's a movement to grow more competition, you are killing long term with your ****** politics, what good will it do to PC fixing if only 2 corps are so rich they have an unfair advantage to a starter corp.
So, **** you. You say is all about the isk, I say good boy. Now, sit, roll, ..... lick this bone.

Clone Packs Suck so... It's kinda a waste of ISK... Derrith is right most of NSes districts are Cargo hubs so, taking them will take three days meaning he is correct...
Thunderdome is postponed until corp battles return please stop sending mails to me. QQ at CCP, not at me.

Yeah, it may have been cowardly, but the alternative was storming the mainland with infantry.
Japan was fully prepared to resist invasion with pretty much EVERYONE in their country (Civilians were being trained to repel invaders as well).
Despite the moral repercussions of dropping Fat Man and Little Boy, you still have to remember that the actions actually saved american lives in the long run.
And that is the reason why we did it.
Justified? Not really, but then again, nothing is really justified in war. You just want to get out with the least damage to your side as possible.

The only way to get the emperor to agree to unconditional surrender was to make the people of Japan afraid of getting bombed into obliteration.
Hitting military targets with Atomic bombs is like killing a mosquito with a cannon ball.. and Confucius has already warned us not to do that. It would have also provided no incentive for Japan to surrender... So you demolish 1 plane factory and the surrounding 15 miles... what do the people of Japan care about that?
The invasion of Japan (X Day) would have cost millions and millions of lives on both sides, theirs and ours. I actually think that dropping the bombs saved lives in the end. Guerilla warfare and the US military moving door to door through Japan would have been extremely bloody.

It's true a real invasion would of been x100 more costly for both sides, but America had already established several Carriers near the home land and was bombing military installations using the cover of night - rendering japanese AA useless.
Sure it still would of been more costly, money wise, but japan had lost control of it's production facilities across the sea and was being enclosed by both American and Austrian troops. Surrender was inevitable as soon as the gas/oil crisis for them hit an all time high - remember, the majority of there war machines were being fueled through Chinese resources, which were eventually cut from them.
Japans stubborn, may of held for months, but a siege would of worked and been less costly life wise.... Hopefully. Lol |

No strategic value because of there was nothing of importance to Japan's war effort in either of those cities, they actually weren't really bombed during the entire war, but to call Nyain San terrorist is just shameful on the OP and is a sad excuse for a human being
