For the Caldari and Amarr Logi bonuses towards Nanohives and Uplinks; will the bonuses still apply to existing equipment even after a player changes dropsuits?

I assume that if you drop it with the logi suit it gets the bonus as long as it survives.
Otherwise the bonuses are pretty annoying.

This is a question that I've been curious about for some time. It really would make the difference in tactics and needs to be addressed prior to 1.8 release so people can make informed decisions.

A new technique for spamming nanos and uplinks:
Deploy in A/1 or proto and drop ALL THE UPLINKS!!
Change suits, C/1, and drop ALL THE NANOS!!!
something like this should be possible, I don't expect them to track what suit you are wearing for uplinks/nanos ALREADY deployed.

Yes.
If you drop the Uplinks in an Amarr Logi, they will retain the bonus until destroyed. If you drop Nanohives from a Caldari Logi, they will also retain the bonus until destroyed.
However, if you drop Nanohives or Uplinks in a Caldari Assault, for example, and then switch to a Caldari Logi, the previously dropped Nanohives will not have the same bonus. |

Wear an ADV suit if ya like but having your logis at proto level is what makes the bonus worth it. Looky Here

Not saying you need to do it in a proto suit, just having the extra two levels of skill will make a difference.
