There are so many douchebags out there in their best proto gear and Ak.0 sentinels inside damned lol blaster tanks. REALL!? I know I shouldn't expect much from the kids that play this game (and by kids I figure its mostly the early 20 something supposed adults). I know lets spam tanks and redline the other team as quickly as we can that'll really help us reach this goal! Its boring no matter which side of the stomp you randomly get put on. And CCP caters to these selfish little narcacistic @ssholes! I'm not going to spout some BS like I'm quiting this game there are still too many decent fun people I play with in my corp and ACME and folks who actually appreciate a hard fought good battle out there. So you can spare the "Can I haz your ISK?" comments. And I'm too damn old to cry over a video game so sorry but my tears aren't delicious. I'm just disappointed in what far too much of this "community" is /end rant Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

He thought that the community as a whole would just go on a careless killing spree this weekend to have fun. He is disappointed in the number of tryhards who value their K/D ratio so much. Most likely because they defin their self-worth through a vidya game. While there is no better place to be wealthy than the Gallente Federation, there is no hell worse for the poor either.

People are trying out proto fits they wouldn't chance at before but now will since they will more than likely use the refund to get into other suits. Using proto just severely hurts the fun of the event. If you decide you need to run Proto I'll eventually run proto as well just so you stop stroking your epeen. What happens when everyone decides to run proto? And tanks are so ridiculously OP in the game, you are contributing no deaths because CCP absolutely caved to tankers and killed AV. Even more so when you decide to hide in the redline. No one is using the event to prepare for a respec, we all know exactly what we were going to spec regardless.

I don't know who started the idea of MLT fits but honestly, if guys only had MLT fits it would A) take longer and B) guys would probably still get stomped but accept it more because they died to a MLT fit. The only thing about this event is time. 50 clones expired in Ambush is the point as well as 80. If you do objective games, you're going to kill more than either two Ambush games. The objective is 2 million clones, which the prototypes are helping by expiring those in the MLT fits quickly. I mean, that's why you guys chose MLT fits, right? To die quicker because you considered them weaker. What's the sense in everybody running MLT fits when we need to accumulate 2 mil clones expired? Mathematically it doesn't make sense. You need to have the protos out there to help increase the speed of acquiring the killed clone count. So I really don't get the sensibility in the argument of "oh noes prototypes are killing me" when that's what you want because you choose MLT fits because of their weakness, not because you wanted a challenging long drawn out match. You want to die quick and get clones tallied. Also like KGB stated, folks are either trying out suits because of the event and also could be trashing suits because of the event. The only time I've gotten upset is when tanks and heavies just sit there at the so called "smart Deploy" or uplinks and kill me before I can even fire a shot. I get that the objective is to kill/ die fast but I would like to actually play the game. Don't turn this into Black Ops.

What you are saying is that the ppl running MLT gear should do all the work so that everyone can reap the reward. This is obviously unfair and makes the ppl who started by running MLT and not giving a ** about their death count get defensive because they are not playing on an even field. Also, It's obvious that if you have a close match with starter fits the death count would be higher than if a team proto stomps and the other doesn't leave the redline, so by running proto gear you are indeed making it harder to reach the goal. Also, the problem with running proto in this event is that it shows absolutely no effort when all that people had to do was run starter fits and not take the game so seriously for a couple of days.

I was proto stomping yesterday and we cloned the other team in 6/8 doms before the mcc armor was halfway...so roughly 150 clones in 12 mins. Ambush takes 8 mins per match, so basically in 72 mins we burned 900 (6 doms at 12 mins) vs ambush 50 or 80 every 8 mins. That's almost twice as effective as Ambush.
