I know we'll get a million clones, yay 2 million SP, but instead of fun weekend of lets use cheap shlt and kill and die a bunch for the good of all. There are so many douchebags out there in their best proto gear and Ak.0 sentinels inside damned lol blaster tanks. REALL!? I know I shouldn't expect much from the kids that play this game (and by kids I figure its mostly the early 20 something supposed adults). I know lets spam tanks and redline the other team as quickly as we can that'll really help us reach this goal! Its boring no matter which side of the stomp you randomly get put on. And CCP caters to these selfish little narcacistic @ssholes!

I'm not going to spout some BS like I'm quiting this game there are still too many decent fun people I play with in my corp and ACME and folks who actually appreciate a hard fought good battle out there. So you can spare the "Can I haz your ISK?" comments. And I'm too damn old to cry over a video game so sorry but my tears aren't delicious. I'm just disappointed in what far too much of this "community" is

So you're blaming proto for making people camp redline/AFK just because
We want to "stroke our epeen". As has been said this event is about dieing. If you really cared about the event they should be running out into glorious molten lead, taking anyone they can out with them. Not our fault they want to protect THEIR K/D by hiding in the redline is it?

But then they proto stomp so hilaiously badly, that people can't even finish unloading 1 plasma cannon shot (.45 seconds at max skills) without dying.

What this leads to is 'oh **** this, rail rifle spam? Meet sniper spam'

Which is obviously met by sniper tanks and rail rifles hitting 200m out, instgibbnf commando snipers who jump out of the MCC, and eventually just AFK.

What this results in, is a final clone count of 75-90/130-145

That's AT MOST 75 clones lost.
Half of 1 team.

Final clone counts hit 23/40 or a reasonable 60/70.

If mercs chose to go with MLT fits and then other other mercs go with Proto, isn't that alright? You put on MLT fits to die quicker. They put on proto to kill quicker. So what's the big deal? If everybody is throwing pebbles at each other, it would take longer. Plus the event is about 2 million clones eliminated. So is the problem with you dying? Or is it about dying to proto fit? Or are you upset that you wanted a challenging match? If that's the case, don't you want to expire clones as quickly as possible to obtain 2 mil?

Tell me I'm not the only one here who is confused by these "you shouldn't wear proto during the event but MLT fits" argument cause I don't understand it all.

I just unlocked Cal Medium Protosuit I had some 178 of them stacked after the last respec so I unlocked the skill and started to you use them.

I usually play with covenant suit with kd/r around 1.5 and I dont care about KD/R.

For now I can see what protostomping looks like from the other side of the fence. Two games with around 40/5 in domination...

I will continue using covenant after those 178 suits.. I play for profit and fun.
