Good reason for no weaponry refund yet

CCP still needs to introduce AV for all of the races, SMGs for all of the races, Grenades for all of the races, knives for all of the races, and heavy weapons for all of the races. By my count this means, just for racial parity, that CCP needs to add 10 more weapons before they would consider a weaponry refund. I would assume that dropsuit command may be in a similar boat (planned stuff to be released that hasn't been yet.) While there is no better place to be wealthy than the Gallente Federation, there is no hell worse for the poor either.

There are 3 new weapons to be released and 1.9 should be used to balanced those weapons and not necessarily to introduce new ones (given 1.9 isn't 6 months away). Balances should also include plasma cannon and flaylock pistols to make them viable going forward. I made a point earlier, why are Min Scouts getting a NK bonus from a Cal weapon. I mentioned I saw SS of every class's knifes and wondered would each knife be available.. Kinda how you unlock assault you get some different variations or would they be completely different weapons. I can see you point but I expect any new weapons and equipment to be released and more questions about weapon re-spec at a later point... CCP mentioned they were going to change the skill SP costs therefore not giving a re-spec t weapons would be a puzzle. Why introduce significant changes to weapons and screw so many over cause everyone its not like they are going to give free SP to some who have already invested in it. I hope for new weapons but there is plenty of improvements and balancing (in particular matchmaking system) which need to be fixed, looked at, and/or improved.

In 1.9 they are making it so that you are branded on your forehead with the letters "FP" so that all will know that you have abused the flaylock pistol in the past.

You shouldn't be able to reap the benefit of a piece of gear for an extended amount of time and then get your SP back to spend on the latest and greatest. That kind of breaks the RPG aspect of the game. Besides, you'd see alot more players banking their SP waiting on new stuff rather than spending it as soon as it's acquired. On a related note, if players got their weapon SP back when RRs and CRs came out, do you think you'd ever see an AR used in match again? I cannot be bought, but I can be leased.

Every single player that tries to stick to one race's philosophy has been forced to train into off-race things because all of the racial options have been available. I would like to know that CCP plans on fixing this, especially due to the fact that they knew they were releasing a feature incomplete game. Yup boyo, if i want be a caldari purist and i trying my best in that LORE i should have possibility to spec in that LORE. But i need some confirmation by CCP if it is "on table", if not there will be again and agin push for RESPEC. They should have refund all AR/SCR sp when the CR and RR came out, and they should refund the flaylock and Scrambler pistol sp now that the pistols will have racial parity. At the very leat they owe this much to their playerbase, the ones who have been funding this beta. So much wasted SP. I'm keeping my gallogi for ewar purposes and going gal and cal scout. There are some weapons I'd like to ditch and about 2 million SP in logi gear I won't use but it is what it is. It's the price you pay when playing a game that is a work in progress rather than a retail game that had its final build go gold and printed.
