I do, CCP had stated prior to the tank respec that if they mangle a whole skill tree or class of X item there would be a respec, can't recall when or who exactly said it but maybe the search button works, try looking for any topic about respecs that have blue or red tags and sometime around the start of uprising when the full respecs were available shortly after the game came out of open beta.
That said, I am sure the CPM have done a great service to the community by keeping tired and brainstorming devs from making poor decisions like nerfing wholesale all weapons...wait that didn't happen...I hope they prevented something bad from happening, lets see, we have tanks that smash everything other than the Jihaders and now will have in 1.8 a weapon damage modifier that adds less than a pittance of dps. Was there something worse that they stopped to prevent them from stopping this?
