Aside the Chrome shotguns were ridiculous. They out ranged and DPS-ed my SMG. I had Sidearm Sharpshooter at 5. Whatever the bug that had "Militia shotgun blueprint," in the kill-feed just rubbed it in.
Currently shotguns are high-alpha no range weapons. That seems pretty fair to me. If it was felt those traits weren't best for close quarters room clearing then a rebalance could be done. Give them more range, ammo, and/or ROF in exchange for lower raw damage.
I'm not even sure they'll be as scary in Uprising 1.8 since they'll suck against any shields and complex damage mods are facing Teiricide.

It will have that extreme ganking power yes, but it will only have a range of 2-4m max.

I was fine with a slight AV Grenade nerf, but a properly fit HAV could survive 3 Lai Dais and even getting hit by an AV Grenade required you to be within 7m of Infantry anyways.
If you drive into a crowd of infantry, you should be punished.

Money and SP won't directly save you in a match. Just because something cost more than another thing doesn't mean it should be superior to everything that cost less. Unfortunately the situation you were in and how you handled it caused your death. He had the superior fit for the situation, and the superior tactics.
Learn from your death. Don't post a thread about how it should be nerfed, unless you have valid statistics to show why it needs to be nerfed.

1: I threw packed AV nades up to 20m, so I call bullshit
2: nanohives made it to where it didn't matter how many you needed, you just kept on spamming, and the HAV would die
3: Still think they need ditching, as they're unbalanceable.

Locus thank you, I couldn't recall the name for some reason.
Also I hate them as well but all my complaints are being fixed in 1.8 so grenades can't just be spammed. With AV grenades however they can't even chase off a tank with 3 much less 2, that don't refil unless at a supply depo mind you, and forget it if the tank has reps or a hardener.
