CCP are hoping to change up their patch cycles and its obvious people haven't been paying attention.
The new production changes mean 1.8 will always be the latest patch, and it will always be released 'some time this month'.
This couldn't be any more clear and specific. In a few months, I think people will understand and stop posting these 'when my 1.8 Coming!?' Threads.
CCP know what they are doing, as demonstrated by being ablw to keep customers informed of when major game updates will hit.
Also Fanfest is coming up - this is where they will announce all the features that will make it in to the game in the next year.
CCP have delivered so much, on deadline, just like they have always promised - it's not like they have anything they need to prove.

Its far more ergonomic, the sticks aren't too small and your fingers rest in them. The sticks are also nice and firm. To put it into perspective, the ps4 controller is nicer to hold than the 360 or smaller original Xbox controllers provided you are not a child or man or woman with small hands.
What you propose for the ps3 is so badly non profitable that I don't know what to say but it would be nice.

What? Uprising was the first expansion wasn't it? This is not the first expansion and 1.8 is a patch, not expansion. We are getting what we have waited ages for, new stuff would be an expansion.

Devs semi-confirmed that we'd have two to three dev blogs to explain the incoming content,we've had one thus far. Even if the other two both came down this week, releasing on the 18th is leaving it VERY late for considered feedback from the wider community; were essentially getting blogs after the content lock phase of patch production, which to me defeats the point of sharing these blogs in the first place.
I'm putting my money on early April, but stranger things have happened and a March date is. It entirely out of the question.
Dialogue between us and CCP has been especially poor this patch cycle. The CPMs have been nigh-invisible. It's not the way we should be doing this.
