We are a third of the way through March and CCP still can't commit to a date for 1.8. Our community managers can only provide a month, which is like asking when dinner will be ready and being told, "Today sometime probably." We can pretty much count on 1.8 being pushed back to April at this point.

The smart money is on April 1st because it's a Tuesday. Anyone for April 8th?

It will never come out guys. Plain and simple. We are stuck with 1.8 and that's it.

CCP are hoping to change up their patch cycles and its obvious people haven't been paying attention.

The new production changes mean 1.8 will always be the latest patch, and it will always be released 'some time this month'.

This couldn't be any more clear and specific. In a few months, I think people will understand and stop posting these 'when my 1.8 Coming!?' Threads.

CCP know what they are doing, as demonstrated by being ablw to keep customers informed of when major game updates will hit.

Also Fanfest is coming up - this is where they will announce all the features that will make it in to the game in the next year.

CCP have delivered so much, on deadline, just like they have always promised - it's not like they have anything they need to prove.

I am certain that talking about 1.8 will be more fun than playing a week or two after its release.

Laser focussed on a console that is outperformed by my mobile. I even use my ps4 controller for dust as it really is better.

Its far more ergonomic, the sticks aren't too small and your fingers rest in them. The sticks are also nice and firm. To put it into perspective, the ps4 controller is nicer to hold than the 360 or smaller original Xbox controllers provided you are not a child or man or woman with small hands.

What you propose for the ps3 is so badly non profitable that I don't know what to say but it would be nice.
