i dont think the mass driver needs a buff with overall damage coming down. but on the whole very happy with these changings kinda looking forword to 1.8 now, gunna save up for that iron pistol

I know I know. Personally I thought the proficiency changes would be enough - a rail / projectile will be far less effective to shields so gives an incentive to shield tankers.

looks like its gonna be back the MD spamming for new FOTM and tbh these new pistols are a bit of a worry. i mean do us AR uses really need more weapons that can out range us? its geting beyond a joke now lol
although i guess i'm gonna have some fun with my templar LR

Wow, only two grenades instead of 3 - that means each one will need 12 nanite clusters to restock. So the new nerfed hives will only restore 4 grenades max per hive, instead of 9... |

I would hope the changes to grenades only apply to locus grenades because let's be honest... just 2 AV grenades will be silly with their current damage.

My god, this.....this is awesome. Very exciting!!! The changes to proficiency are really gonna make a difference to the way people play and think. I for one am very happy I won't get slaughtered by the combat rifle in my caldari suit. Similarly my rail rifle is gonna have a hard time chewing through shields.
This update is huge CCP, great work! Balancing to the weapons, 5 new suits, 3 new weapons, geez Im gonna need more skill points..... |

I worry about the assault rifle losing some DPS. I think with it's range so short, it should have the highest DPS of all the rifles. The rail rifle, with the longest range, should have the lowest DPS.
Best PVE idea I've seen.

So the Gallente AR is completely dead now, awesome. Why the nerf on the TAC AR too? Leave that thing alone!
Essentially this has just told us that we will pretty much never die by anything other than remote explosives or tanks. Tanks didn't get a nerf and they're a massive problem with TTK.
I honestly thought I would be super excited by this news, but as usual it's an over nerf it from orbit kind of thing. |
