CCP should try balancing the game by themselves first. Then, they should test it. Can't use a test server thanks to Sony? Tell them that it is necessary. The game is being made by CCP, not the players. This isn't open source. The idea is likable, but it won't get you far unless you have a truly unbiased, trustable player base (something hard to achieve in a F2P game).
This is all my opinion, of course. You, sir, deserve to be written upon the DUST Monument (when we get one) for this tidbit of undying knowledge.

Talk to him about your fears you stated in this thread, and let him explain to you why you needn't worry. This guy is probably the only CPM I'd vote for if he ran for re-election. I can't really agree with this enough - the CPM are privy to a great deal of information and I hope that they will join in allaying some of the concern out there. The game is undergoing a massive amount of work at the moment. I also have to agree with the sentiment that the game is being developed by CCP (as Joel II X mentioned) but we do like paying close attention to Community feedback. I crawl these forums like you wouldn't believe.
