OP is a troll and not a very good one. The Gallente FW booster issue happened three weeks ago. He's not even keeping up with current events. Not many players were even effected by the issue. The internet lawyer bit has been done before and wasn't very creative to begin with. 2/10 only because he got a handful of people to reply, I'll up it to 3/10 if he can get to five pages.

The correct classification would be Cyber Law. The sub class would be Online Transactions.
There is no law(s) for "game related transactions". There are laws for "gaming" but that comes under intellectual property.

If something is illegal, the EULA can not make it legal. Both Sony and CCP exist outside the U.S. and from their part the transactions occurred on their end of the server. Idk how that pans out legally, but most likely the EULA does mean that you have to file a claim in Iceland court, not U.s. Most of these agreements have you forfeit jurisdiction to a court closer to the company.
From what I know U.S. courts generally agree with the company in these cases. You only have a case if you can show it was offered at that price and it wasn't a technical problem. |
