Guys
Just so you know as per international sales laws what CCP is doing is illegal.
Yes CCP: check with your lawyers. You just cant refund 1 AUR back. You either have to refund them the pack or the equivalent value of the AUR it is supposed to be.
Your coding problems are not the consumer problems.
I suggest all those who have bought the gallente assault pack and have them taken away from you to file a complaint with Sony.

Read the eula, they didnt have to give you ANY aurum back. |

Dexter and Ripley are just stupid. The rest of you who bought the faction pack and have got it removed file a complaint with Sony. More than likely you will end up with PSN cards. This is not the first time CCP has done something like this and Sony compensate players for it.

I was overcharged by $10 on a Aurum bundle and was told by CCP that its SonyGÇÖs fault and Sony said it was CCPGÇÖs fault.... now IGÇÖm not getting any replys from either of them on the matter :(

Allowing hundreds players to buy thousands of FW boosters would increase the amount of Gallente LP earned, thus increasing the amount of Gallente faction gear. Someone could easily stock up on LP, wait for the player market to be launched, then flood the market with Gallente faction gear. Those players would make millions of ISK and cause huge price imbalances that would take months before they resolve themselves.
That isn't even counting the fact that these players could much more easily run prototype Gallente faction gear since they have such a large pool of Gallente LP to draw from. This can cause Gallente FW to win even more matches than they already do, leading to dissatisfaction from the Caldari players who didn't get to benefit from the FW boosters for 1 AUR.
No, CCP did the right thing by refunding the FW boosters that were bought for 1 AUR. They did the right thing, and they did it legally regardless of what OP made up in his internet lawyer playbook.

Dont even bother with CCP. File the complaint with Sony.
While CCP can advertise at 1 AUR and sell it at 100000000 AUR they cannot take back at product at the price they sold it at just because they made a mistake. Enjoy!

1) You are correct to a degree
2) You must file a LEGAL complaint through legal channels which means you have to find a lawyer that thinks they will make money off of this (if it favors you or not) which is likely impossible. Trust me, just because you have a case doesn't mean they take it.
3) Suck it up
4) Technically they can sue you first for defamation on their forum page, cite that they lost valuable revenue because of you, and then you would say to yourself "hmm, maybe the right way was to just got straight to a lawyer that would have told me 'read ekopalm's forum post and look for the what he said at number 3'". |

Not required. Filing a complaint with Sony is more than enough. Oh and btw in the USA any claims less than $10000 can be filed in a consumer court.

No they cant. Its not defamation when I am quoting their own information from their own GM. Using their own public information against them is not grounds for defamation suits.
