I would fight back with my proto gear but it's not worth it because isk payout is so low that I cannot afford to lose proto especially when I'm playing with 15 fresh out of the academy and were in a losing battle. I actually like the arc the mas driver does. You can use it to your advantage shooting over your team mates or over obstacles. The only suggestion I would make is to increase the clip size a little bit. It is too small for main weapon.

Two more points... #1 - Proto guns cost more than the suits. #2 - I run Proto 99% of the time, and my wallet hovers right around $100m. If you don't die a lot, you can run them virtually always. Of course, it helps when you run in a squad (and a few of them carry a nanite injector).

Last month I was considering buying 30$ of AUR cause I told myself "Ah, i can get a few boosters, some cosmetically nice AUR equipment, have a bit of fun, ect". But after about 3 matches in a row where my team was locked in our spawn behind the red line, i decided not to. Why should I put money into this game? These super corps and squads are the ones having all the fun. If CCP wants money, they should get it from them. Not everyone is out to be the "best of the best". I just want to kill a few hours here and there. Why should i have to talk to a bunch of high pitched overly excitable teenagers just so I can have the chance to leave my spawn? Im not coming to Dust cause I have no social life and want to make friends. Yet the game is made so that it forces you to do so. I cant even have a friend over at my house to play this game together, cause there is no 2 player support, but im supposed to squad up each time I play. Makes no sense. One of the only reasons Im still drawn to this game is because of keyboard and mouse support. (ex PC gamer). If they got rid of that Id probably close my account down and never mention the game ever again.
