Not sure if it was one big hit or many hits in a fraction of a second, a la Arirana-style melee glitch. What I do know is it did 900 damage before I could even pull the trigger. He came round a corner in the city, face to face with me, I heard the NK noise and I dropped dead. Probably he had me on passive scan so knew I was coming, hence how he got his hits off before I could fire. Anyway, just thought I'd put that out there in case someone had any ideas about what happened, since I know nothing about NK's myself.

So PRO NK dealing 200 damage + Prof 5 (25% Dam increase) + Min scout lvl 5 (25% Dam increase) is 200x1.5=300 (x3 for charge shot = 900) and I think that it works out to that damage PER knife, NK swipe swings both knives one after the other for a total possible 1800 damage for 1 charge shot if both hits land perfectly. Plus they do have a headshot multiplier. I could be wrong, but on one of my alts who is full Minja I can OHK a tanked heavy with ~1500 EHP with a charge shot to the back. I am here to ask you one question, and one question only: EXPLOSIONS? THAT SENTENCE HAD TOO MANY SYLLABLES! APOLOGIZE!

If your worried that its excessive then don't. The risk involved in closing the distance is immense as well as requiring a charge you can't initiate on the run. Scouts tend to skill up their range so they can better see medium suits coming. So yes, he probably did know you were there. Could of had minmatar scout to lvl 5, might of had proto knifes, with prof 5 on them. Everything about that suit/combo is quickness. Quickly traversing the map, quick reflexes, quick kills, and very much..quick deaths. ^-^!&@X@&!^_ ^!&@D@&!^-^

Just hadn't seen the incredible damage first hand before (usually get NKed in the back ).

Creepily starts sharpening knives, soon my pretties, soon. But yeah, seems fair that my suit that goes down in 2 basic rail shots can hit yours in one, try the knives out sometime, after maxxing out every biotic skill, dampening skill, scout suit skills, knives basic skills, profiency skill, scanner skills. And thats if you're a pure kniver, stabby stabby (charge time is max 1 sec anyway, think it can be pulled down to around 0.75

I have a friend who shreds with his proto Knives. I only have the advanced Knives and I OHK ANY medium or light frame with a fully charged hit. 2 hit any heavy. I use them occasionally to good effect but im definitely not the best out there. The issue is getting close enough to use them since suits walk the same speed backwards and forwards.
