True that. Makes it really hard to kill tanks because the second you sneak on them they pull on hardeners and boost out of there with there fuel injectors.

Alena Ventrallis wrote:Limit one hardener per vehicle. Boom. That's not as big of a deal as the efficacy of militia hardeners. A second hardener on a shield tank takes damage reduction from 60% to 80%. While an extra 20% makes a big difference the biggest problem is that you can get that 80% by fitting basic modules. Which means you don't have to make sacrifices elsewhere. If only complex mods offered that kind of reduction it would make fitting a tank much more balanced so that strengths could be offset by weaknesses. Right now the only weakness is cooldown time which is idiotic.

maybe they should add a weapon that is only effective vs activated hardeners lol, or take the existing plasma cannon and modify it to have bonus vs hardener
at least that tank fit takes a crap ton of sp

I didn't know this was possible until I saw it being discussed as a recommended fit in the rookie training grounds. IIRC, they said it still leaves room for an ADV blaster turret, ADV repper and a STD nitro. Don't lie. |

Scouts, or any suit really, cannot fit more than one cloak why is a tank and hardeners any different? Why is invisibility> invincibility?
I wouldn't mind stacked, or cycled, hardeners if we had a way to force them into cooldown but we don't. In the very least we need EMP grenades/mines that shut down modules.
AV is just so lacking in the game, it may not need more damage but needs secondary items like webs and emps. "Windows of Opportunity" was a terrible balancing mechanic. |

at least that tank fit takes a crap ton of sp While they definitely need to be nerfed, this gives me an idea.
Why not some type of e-war equipment/module that speeds up the cycle time of active mods (As in, they don't last as long), and messes with infantry stamina?

Unfortunately for OP he's not Alldin Kan.
Also unfortunately for him, Alldin's usage, to which OP is undoubtedly alluding, was to point out an exceedingly effective combination of two otherwise useless items.
Be original next time, OP.
Also, hardeners aren't OP.
Shield hardener stacking is OP. The only thing a perma hardened Madrugar is beating is a weak blaster.

Well, with no points into Large Turrets, I can fit 2 Complex Hardners, Advanced Repper, Standard Injector, and a Basic Federation Blaster with enough CPU and PG, so, apparently the king of tanks isn't as well informed as he thought.
Note, an Advanced Blaster would knock me over by 20 CPU, but with about 3 levels of fitting optimization, it would work just fine, which I can only imagine Spker has that to 5 as it is.
