I had been checking out dust since the first few weeks of closed beta,
loved the idea, and the sci-fi look was cool but gameplay was broken
Never will I understand how so many people stayed active during the early stages
My ps3 has nightmares about the endless loading menus and freezing

I remember getting into this game a few weeks after closed beta began and I just thought the game was **** because I got confused with the Dropsuit customisation and how to find a game. I quit a few hours later.
Then i cameback when i was given the starter pack from the PS+, and I've been playing like every day. FML |

I remember when DUST server was only available on the weekends. I think Friday to Sunday was the routine schedule before they switched to all week long.

August 2012 for me, too. Sadly, just missed Skirmish 1.0. 
These days I miss the old DUST Bowl ambush map from Chromosome more than anything... it was a blood bath every time.
I used to miss the Heavy Type-II suit the most, but after a year of it being out of the game, I'm finally getting it back in 1.8! Let's hurry up on that Minmatar gorilla suit, hey CCP?
