i know i started in 2012 i think somewhere in the range of oct-december.. whenever the regnum DEI army started showing up i mean just take a look at the names of old regnum's, i quit something during 2013 then i went to trolling the forums which caused me getting banned alot.

closed beta october 2012. however, i am only here in spirit anymore. after PFBHz broke up, I took a ten month break then rebooted to group up with some old fluffies that were still playing but with the recent announcement there is no longer any point in playing. I already did that once with mag after zipper stopped supporting it, and it became a glitcher fest. I will not go down that road again so I am off to MLB the Show for awhile.
That being said, I salute you folks that our sticking around and wish you all well. |

January 2013. I was a part of the anticipated noob wave at the start of chrome, though the noob wave from uprising was alot bigger and less talked about.
Was a 1 week old blueberry with a 3.0 kdr and 1000 kills. That was one hell of a week.

Oh god. Each second playing Dust was like a game of Perfection, at any second the game could and would crash and burn. It was inevitable, the game was GOING TO crash, it was just a matter of when it would happen and whether or not your PS3 would hard-lock when it did happen.
Back then, it took about 5-6 minutes to go from XMB to Merc Quarters too, had to go through about 3 separate loading sequences during the Dust startup screen. It became a universal custom to restart after each third game, any more than that and you were almost certain to hard-lock on your 4th or 5th game. There were several varying glitches like this in the early days of Dust, some completely random (INVALID FITTING, Spinning Circle of Infinite Loading), some occurring after a general amount of time (2-3 Team Chats followed by Deployment Bug), others triggered by performing certain actions (Corp/Player Search).
As for when I started, May 2012, Day 1. I believe there were a few Eve players who had been there a little bit before that, but May was the first wave of legit closed beta testers. I believe searching my name (for content, not users) will turn up a quoted post of mine from about the first week of the closed beta (posts from closed beta have the actual users names removed, but post contents remain).
