You will never PC and never be a competitive force in this game.
You guys are corny. Seriously. Someone is trying to help and it seems that yall upset that there's a possibility someone will take your precious protostomp argument away.
Bunch of silly kids.
I thought this entire effort was focused around pub matches.... of course I'm not talking about PC here . And I'm not talking about the relevancy of being a competitive force... I want the game to succeed and I want new players to try it out, and stay. Way to completely miss the point, smart guy. If you want to turn a corner and finally do right by the community after being a major part of the problem and a huge bully for so long, fine. But if you don't do it with humility, well then - expect some flak.
It's a good thing you didn't help him with the english. You fail to understand when someone speaks it to you.
Somehow you and some other players think that keeping players around involves not using a prototype suit. As if experienced players still can't kick someone's ass in a MLT/STD suit.
Seriously, what does not using a prototype suit means? So are you now generalizing that protos are automatically win suits and that STD/MLT suits can't be just as lethal in the right hands?
Your perspective on the matter (calling folks bullies for using proto suits) is just so soft is ridiculous. I've learned from fighting against protos you big softy charmin.
The major part of the problem isn't prototypes. It's dumb blueberries who don't know how to employ tactics you brainchild!! You could take protos out of ambush and newbs would still get destroyed by players like me who are skilled in their core skills, know the maps, and have better strategy.
But of course small thinking people like you just equate the problem to protos being in the pubs. When in actuality, if the blueberries would leave ambush and try more objective based games, it would prove to be a big help to their game as a whole.
If you want to be competitive at this game, then you better stop being so soft. Folks in PC will tear you to shreds and has been known to destroy corporations because the competitiveness is so fierce.
Stop selling blueberries a false dream. Being in ambush in a regular dropsuit won't teach them ****! They have to learn strategy and stop playing this game like every other shooter they play. But yea, let's not talk about that. Let's just act like prototypes being the absolute problem and nothing else would eradicate the blueberry quicker on the battlefield.
Get smarter and stop thinking so short minded.

So I'm supposed to stand With my head bent, hat in hand and be Meek and be ashamed that I've merely played the game? Yes I normally use all the tolls and toys available to Ensure a win, or by extension a stomp. If I were cheating, glitching, camping etc.

No, but seriously just shut up. This is the first time a vet is reaching out to the community by reducing pub stomping and y'all complain?

Thats what normal corps do, but we are a pure merc corp so we mostly demand a 3.5 KDR + swag to join. I'm not getting stuck defending my own districts in PC having to carry a bunch of noobs, never again! Remind us all how PC went for you last time you tried? You mean when we got 1 frame per second vs Nyan san? Its funny how Nyan San suddenly started to lose most of their game after CCP did a hotfix to lag caused by Equipment spam. Besides, we had 3 membrs on for one fight and 9 for the next one. I'll gladly take a Whole team of us these days against anyone. Just you wait and see what we'll accomplish in PC when get more than Our current 31 members...
I guess that depends on whether on not you stomp AE and NS out of Molden Heath with you NF alliance, I'm guessing all the usual corp jumpers will move to the winning side.
I guess at the moment though that all depends on whether Kain kicks all your players and runs off with your money or not?
It will make you easier to find in game though as you're never going to be able to wash off the stench of blue-ing up with IMP's and TP.
I have 0 respect for any former SI guys who stay in RE. |

Why can't more people be like you? You display talent, a willingness to adapt and have a great fighting spirit.
Why didn't you pick up a sniper and stayed the rest of the game in the redline?
And thank you for proving my point to a degree, do you play like this becaue you are skilled or have you gotten this skilled by playing that way over some period of time?
Explanation highlighted You can't expect players just out of the academy or within the 1st month of playing to do this and your basically reaffirming my point that you just want new players to stomp
This post in another protostomping thread probably responds to both points if you care. (some decent advice for protostompees in that thread - basically, go for guerrilla tactics)
Most people who FPS just want to shoot things in the face with a big gun - these people will probably hate DUST, because basic Gank and Tank play seems most unbalanced by SP and ISK investment.
These guys need to learn to squad or will die. They also need to read the forums and/or join a corp to actually learn the things that might help them stay alive and maybe kill people - that I think puts way to much onus on the player base to ease in new players.
Those who choose to put the time and effort to build a player community (whatever you think of RE - its still a community right?) have to limit their experience of actually playing the game so new players stay?
That doesn't sound right to me.
Telling RE not to be tryhards is like telling D-UNI to stop being neutral - it's not very New Eden IMO.
Also, tiercide :-)
You probably don't know me. But next time you get gunned down or exploded by a Valor scout...check the name.
