in dust fighting a force of relatively equal force is rarer than finding a prototype commando.
You're either vastly outgunned/manned and stomped like a baby chick into a meat grinder, or you're fighting people so inept that they have to be in their first game out of the academy.
You think anyone learns from just watching you casually murder everything within 100 meters without breaking a sweat because you outgear them by a wide margin and can effectively say a fine "**** you!" to tactical gameplay!?
When I was learning, I was encouraged to take up a logistical role for a stint, so I would be useful to everyone else(since as you very well know, a new player's militia AR hit's like a spitball against your protosuit and their freebie suit is made of wet tissue paper) and would be forced to stick with everyone and learn proper tactics instead of wandering around, wondering how these guys are doing so well while I'm getting my face chewed off.
If you hear the words "WORTH IT!" look about, something hilarious just happened.

So when I play PC I merely just Wander around and kills everything? No trust me I don't. I have a great deal of knowlege about tactical gameplay, more than most I dare say.
And I dunno what the QQ is about militia ARs? They take me Down in about 1 second these days.
The Whole point of this is to play tight and use proper tacticts, its suppose to be a Learning experience. And I'll, as I've mentioned, play With 35 K isk suit.
Stop making these stupid assumptions, it just puts all you butthurt QQers in a bad light.
And lastly, going into Battle in Groups of 3 players we mostly end up on the stomped side, thats why we do it, there is were the really fun games are.

Okay, since you're dumb as a stump(and I'm fairly certain I just pissed off stumps everywhere) he is not helping the problem nearly as much as you think he is. He is still stomping newbies, who will never play this game again. Now, if no new people play the game, it just becomes a circlejerk for bittervets until they finally get burned out, then the servers get shut down because no one is playing the game at all.
At the very best, this will slow the problem of this game having basically no retention of new players by a tiny bit(one or two players for every team he stomps out of the game, and even then, it's only until they're unlucky enough to be on the other team and he stomps them out too). but he's still stomping the god out of new players because there is no such thing as matchmaking in dust.

Am I dumb or are you just ignorant for not having a broad thinking mind? I go with the latter because I'm far from dumb.
So what do you expect players to do really? Shoot twice and say "I could have killed you but go ahead lil johnny and shoot me down"
What does that teach the player? What does he retain from that?
The problem with players like you and many is that you're so short sighted in your approach of the situation. And you're so unstable in your argument that you rather continue it just for the sake of, instead of adding to it and bringing some things to light to better the experience of the newberries.
Did you read the OP or did you judge prematurely? He states that he is willing to take newberries into his squad to show them tactics and tips on how to become a better player.
And you feel he's not helping the situation? How?
Next time, before you call someone an idiot, make sure you're not the idiot that's pointing fingers at others when you fall underneath the category for not properly digesting what's being said to you.
You're just bitching to be bitching.

And yes I do intend to work With them, thats why I require mics, what aould be the point without some proper training? I could just simply let the Squad be filled by randoms if I merely wanted some scrubs in Squad.

You mean when we got 1 frame per second vs Nyan san? Its funny how Nyan San suddenly started to lose most of their game after CCP did a hotfix to lag caused by Equipment spam. Lame.
So, you get tired of facing opponents that are sick and tired of getting stomped and so they hide in the redline... and now that's it's impacting your game experience you're willing to tone down your game and help out some newbies with your humbly titled in-game channel and willingness to have them on your squad?
Would have been doing this all along if you were a high caliber player.

What does "I'm a tool" mean? I'm not especially well versed in all English Expressions.
And what do you mean by a "high Caliber player"? A good player or a social consious player?
And Yeah keep it coming. Keep belittleling one of the very few who actually makes an effort to reduce the stomp compared to the hundreds of other players in this game that do nothing but stomp. Here I come and try and make something positive for community happens and the thread gets filled up With petty QQ. You're not helping.
And clearly the meaning of the chat title goes over everyone's head.
I find it odd that I had several very good players in chat yesterday from various corps willing to help out but only one dude that actually wanted some training, says a lot about the this community. We'll see how this develops.

I've fought with and against Rainbow Effect and most games haven't been a stomp either way, certainly not like the way a Duna corp 6 tank ambush turns out.
GG Babar, unfortunately the majority of red dot noobs that would benefit won't be reading any of this, or even know the forums exist.

Yeah, you're a saint.
I've never set foot on the ground in a proto suit. And I use my advanced scout only 1% of the time. And I've been doing so for the past year while squadding with whoever (with or without mikes) wants to be in my squad.
So yeah - I'm not helping? Do the same for a year then give me a call and you can accuse me of not helping. Then, you still won't be a saint - you'll just be a regular OK guy, and not a complete nozzle trying to look good while "making a difference". |

I thought this entire effort was focused around pub matches.... of course I'm not talking about PC here . And I'm not talking about the relevancy of being a competitive force... I want the game to succeed and I want new players to try it out, and stay. Way to completely miss the point, smart guy.

1) You're too stupid to counter proto gear with proto gear. or, this one I feel is more relevant 2) You're not skilled enough to go up against them, EVEN in proto gear. |
