I think it's fine though because most people can't aim and to be honest it's not any worse than the Scrambler Rifle. The AR is the UP gun, worst DPS and worst range, when it should be the second best DPS, next to the SCR, and worst range. Armor and Shields are not the same!

All 4 rifles are OP, skilled AR users (SP invested and good at the game) are still killing with the AR not incessantly complaining in thread after thread on the forums. Sorry the AR is not better than everything else anymore, sorry you put so much SP into it. Skill into one of the other rifles, you can use more than one you know. I have a couple million into MD, I think I have as much right to QQ as anybody but its not worth it and it will come back around, I've skilled into other things. Good players find a way to make almost anything work in this game, chase the FotB if you want easy mode, play with what you like and stop caring so much if you just want to use what you want to use. Those two guns are OP but the people that know this are all taking advantage of the situation and making "cleaver" arguments about how the RR and the CR are not OP and people are just making a big deal of something stupid. If you need anything more than a standard rail rifle to get kills, then you must suck really bad at this game. It is extremely OP. Because its full auto, even people with bad aim can slay with it, the combat rifle is only dangerous if the wielder can aim.

I don't honestly think it is UP, though I listened to AR scrubs scream and shout that there was nothing wrong with the AR, so now they should be forced to listen to us scream and shout that there is nothing wrong with our Racial Rifles. In all honesty, the idea behind the rail rifle to me is just ridiculous, highest damage per shot and longest range? Pass that this way, seriously, I would still advocate for the damage profiles and range profiles to be the inverse of one another. Range: RR > SR > CR > PR Damage: PR > CR > SR > RR The farther away you can be and still have efficacy, you should have a lesser amount of damage per shot since if they are infantry, they need to make up that range to get to their own range. Though if I can get up close and personal with one of the closer range variants, I should melt you but I need to effectively be in your face (not quite as bad as the shotgun but not too much farther than the SMG).
