is there a point putting a precision enhancer? because it seems it will detect all med frames and every other scout will be too damped to pick up with a precision enhancer.

With cmp enhancer it will read at 22db methinks. So if you want to pick up anyone under 31 and above 22, then yes there will be a point. |

Don't be the guy that runs comps damps with a cloak ;) cloaks when activated give -.25% to profile db I believe. But yes the theory crafting is fun |

ScP makes BP completely pointless.
Regular is better than uncharged, breach is better than charged. I wouldn't be surprised if the headshot damage for the ScP equals the headshot damage for the charged BP.
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!

Lvl5 everything relevant and 4 complex precision mods give the Cal scout ~10dB scan for 35m.
Best fit though is 2 enhanced, iirc, because then you can scan cloaked scouts (bar the Gal; and granted they're dampened just below proto scanners) and uncloaked Gal scouts.

Precision Enhancers have stacking penalties so with 4 on a max Cal scout equals 45*0.9*0.75*0.8*(1-(0.2*0.869))*(1-(0.2*0.571))*(1-(0.2*0.283))=16.78. Scanning at 37.5m (unless you use range amps).
Sounds great but it's pretty easy for scouts to get under...especially the Gal Scout. It will take 1 Complex dampener, 1 Std Dampener, and one cloak, while active, to beat for non gal scouts. Or 2 Pro Damps and 1 Adv damp.
For Gal scouts that's 1 Pro Damp Or active cloak plus 1 Std damp. |
