Yeah true, don't get me wrong "Omni-Soliders" are important, they make a contribution to the field that no specalized unit can do, but at the same time.
Even when you are level 5 at everything, the fact that you actively engage in so many roles, probably even per match meams that when you come up against a specalist you will be at a disadvantage.
I have yet to meet anyone who use's a MassDriver quite the way I do.

For the sake of regular public matches this is not a bad idea, however for PC or Faction and other serious matches you will need to be a master in something. Maxing that weapon profiency and other passive skills is HUGE to becoming a killer/survivor. Remember that weapon profiency makes even the cheap guns better. As has been said, 'jack of all, master of none'. |

Indeed it does, despite having no physical changes since 1.1 I think, other weapons, lighting effects and just the general feel of the weapon, makes it FEEL different every patch. I'll admit the weapon seems a bit left in the cold this patch.
But still the Mass Driver makes for an unparalleled Terror Weapon, nothing makes em mlve like a grenade casting a red light across the ground as it flies.

Prof 5 forge gun. Prof 5 AR. Prof 3 ScP. Prof 3 HMG. prof 3 ScR. Proto heavy/ logi /assault all Amarr baby.

Pretty much, while it can be "Aimed" you rarely have time to eye it in, you evemtually get a natural instinct on where the round will go.
There are too many factors to manually account for.

I have 18 mil, proto basic heavy, adv every other suit minus minmatar, gallente light and commando. I have all weapons to 3 minus sniper and laser and forge, with ar, cr, swarm, and scr at proto prof 3. All equipment 4 and all core at 5 save for engineering and electronics which are 4. My philosophy is, doing the same thing all day is boring.....I want to try something else. |

I have been having alot of fun in a Methana. If your vehicle skills are up you can get 173 reps pre second. I got a 20gj rail on it. I've smoked about 5tanks and a few DS. If I get a competent gunner infantry doesn't stand a chance. Those rails two shot most suits.

With 26 mil SP I can really do anything I want.
I have access to all weaponry to at least ADV level, I have access to most suits to at least advanced level, have a proto heavy, proto assault, proto logistics, working on proto scout.
My core skills are close to be maxed out, I just need to get some more biotics/precision enhancement/range enhancment skills.
Also have proto hives and injectors.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.
