There are those of us who can not commit to a single role on the battle field. We specialize in adapting to battle as a whole. I find having more options puts me in a better position to win battles. What can you field? How do you react to the ever changing battlefront? What advice would you give to the next generation of warsmiths? I have to say I am a proud Amarr son who appreciates the psychological and visceral engagements Dust provides. I have heavy frames, assault suits, and logistics to back my team up. I can don all other suits and weapons at ADV level or better. The exception being Caldari medium frames for I never wanted to be like every other assault at the time. I do have a BPO dragonfly for making money in an ambush. Since 1.6 I have been strengthening my vehicle combat. Tanks alot. I should have ADS next week at around this time. I cant wait to see some Amarr machines out there. I will get into individual fits later in the thread, if it takes off. I hope to bounce around some trade secrets. Most of all i want to promote diversity. FoTM blows. I am the real Darken

As frames go the A-1series is probably the best suit in the game. 3 highs 3 lows and 3 equipment. This thing has a side arm so it makes for a decent AV fit. It has the potential to fill all the gaps in the team. At any given time I have 4-5 set up for various tasks. The best part, it only costs 8000isk. I am the real Darken

I think being AV made me a better tanker. I also think being a scout made me better at assault. I am adapting my logistics fits around the new routs and play styles I have learned as a sniper. Making sniper/AV nests is essential to controlling the battle field. I found the best fit for a Squad lead is a commando. When you have all the legos who knows what you can build? Lvl 1 grenades net you all 3types but ADV have the wallop you need. M-8 if you are good. Drop uplink deployment II is a must. The stable uplink is the perfect equipment for tossing on any suit. Nanocircuitry is also high on the list. The compact nanohive fits anywhere. I would strongly recommend getting all the triage hives. Scanner. Basic swarms, sniper, and a rifle. You can branch out from here. Get profile dampening III or better. Suits are your choice. I am the real Darken

Two commandos and an Amarr logi is the perfect sub team. Suppression and Aggro. I cant wait for all the new suits in 1.8. I hope they put the focus back on infantry, tanking is like a job. I want to get my boots back on the ground and up my opponents ass. Who wants some?

At that time i only had Heavy type II and Sver logi. I made a rule. Use my cap to fill out my main playstyle and then use the 1.5k every match to try new things. A year later i have everything. If you cant do it in a basic suit i would try something else. after you get used to what you like you can start skilling into that with your weekly SP. keep adding cheap gear after you've capped and you will play longer and better each week. my first assault suit had a crg and armor plates back in chrome. I never really had a desire to make the copy paste suits all the pros use. Its gear exploits that make FoTM, i like being resourceful and creative and deadly in my own way. Ask my tanker, he lectures me constantly about getting out of my tank. to each his own. If you want to do more than camp spawns and pew pew. look into being a Warsmith. Who wants some?

ScP is the best if your good. I recommend SMG to girls. no offence but they get flustered and spray and pray is beastly with the SMG. Who wants some?

And whilst I am a woman, I don't think I get all flustered. Of course remembering to actually switch to the SMG at closer ranges will be one of my next goals. Along with improving my RR game of course. I'm not ripping on you. Its been my experience training females that the SMG is better. I'm sure there are exceptions. I use my side arm any where there are corners, doors, stairs. The ScP is pretty good at range too and i run faster with it out. Who wants some?

We do more than 1 job each, but the thing is against infantry we are overwhelming, even against other squads or wolfpacks, no matter how many roles you can do, you can't do them at the same time and they don't help against mass numbers. actually i can do almost every job now that i tank. All it takes is having a A-1 logi suit to spam some equipment here and there. Who wants some?

It gets changed the most out of any weapon Indeed it does, despite having no physical changes since 1.1 I think, other weapons, lighting effects and just the general feel of the weapon, makes it FEEL different every patch. I'll admit the weapon seems a bit left in the cold this patch. But still the Mass Driver makes for an unparalleled Terror Weapon, nothing makes em mlve like a grenade casting a red light across the ground as it flies. Grub-Grub tells me "screw learning to aim, you gotta feel where that b!tch is going". Who wants some?
