i know KDRs are kind of taboo in the land of DUST, so save your crybaby nonsense for someone who cares. 
i remember when i first got my 1.0 KDR. i was at roughly 9000 kills. now at about 26,000 kills in im at a 1.94.
this is actually quite a feat for me, because i'll be one of the few full time scouts with a 2 KDR. not cal or gal logi(yes, if you're a slayer cal or gal logi with proto rifle and think you are "good" you should be ashamed), not assault, but scout through thick and thin.
im actually away from home right now, but when i get back you better believe im gonna be finishing this up.

Awesome lol. As much as the community tends to hate kdr, it does matter.
Especially in ambush. Kdr in ambush directly influences the winning of the game. That's all I play so I respect everyone with a high kd :D

In this game you can buy KDR with proto suits that's why it does not matter.

What if Caldari logi was not my first choice and I only specced level 3 in it so I could use the Aurum Proto version?

Ambush is easy mode. With spawn mechanics ****** up to the -nth mode all a team needs to do is gain the high ground and the enemy is done for.
Everyone knows ambush is BS and too easy when you have an organised squad. The payouts for risk vs reward is indirectly proportional to each other.

I'm gettin there, I started out with like .42 and at that point I was 1000 kills deep, now I'm working with 1.66 and 14000, and still primarily a combat medic/logi :)

Mucho respectz. I went scouting on a basic gal frame the other day and while I maintained a decent 2.5 kdr, I got them feels like no other. Surprisingly rr/cr users were no problem to take care of, it was those damn geks.

I've been slowly rising my KDR towards 2.0 too, right now it's at 1.79. Being a full-time scout myself too, I am really proud if I can ever achieve that.
Also, I'm less than 50 likes away from getting forum warrior level 1, which I will probably celebrate when/if I reach it. :3

I've never cared about my KDR. I don't know why people do.
I just don't get all the talk of how hard it is to have a positive KDR as a scout. I also don't think that I'm more capable than other people but in my first week after I switched to scout suits my weekly KDR was at 4.88 and I was using just a standard scout suit.
Thus I have a conspiracy theory about scouts. I actually think they have formed a secret society and its only purpose is to QQ about how hard playing as a scout is everyday so that they get a buff and become OP.

I thought about saying that, but felt that adding a qualification would reduced the impact of my statement. A full time Sniper would have to have a much higher KDR to impress me. Which is not any slight against Snipers, but merely an acknowledgement of the fact that they can go multiple games without dying. I saw my wife go 8 matches without dying, with an average kill count of 7. While I did see her get 3 melee kills in those 8 matches, including against a Nova Knifer, there were several matches where she never even got shot at. When she pissed someone off enough to counter Snipe they would just end up killing one of the Blueberries she would use as decoys. She knew how to blend in. I have also seen her go 15/0.

ive seen you quite a few times since then, actually.
i was doing some tests on the effetiveness of myofybrils but since scouts simply dont have enoigh slots, i had to use a med frame. speaking of which ive been meaning to post the results of that here lol.

To be fair to Logi it would be nice if the game tracked how many clones you saved with a Nanite Injector. (Of course to be a useful stat it would have to only include pick ups where the clone lived for more than 10 seconds as successful.)

I respect the truly good snipers. Those being the only snipers that casus me any problems. Not many of them around.
The not so good snipers only annoy me when there are more than 3 snipers on own my team. Not so good snipers have to get lucky to get a kill on me. I usually have cover between me and the snipers when I am not covering ground in a zig zag pattern.
