No doubt, This game has given me some irate times, But, There is some things I do to help relieve the madness for myself & others.
My primary two things are:
-I take a 15 minute break
-Start singing randomly about all the bullshit that is happening
A new thing I've been doing for other people in my squad who are raging out, Dropping F-Bombs every nanosecond and sound like they might suffer cardiac arrest; is sing "Cold Blooded" (Just those two words) in a really high pitched key.
Seems to work somehow and my squadmates are back to laughing and having fun as they should be. It is just a game after all troopers!

since I had this game im on my 5th duelshock 3... ended up moving one of the chairs to near the tv, to launch the controller into instead of the wall .... and it has helped
In 5 months I have only raged quit twice.... and one of those was when I crashed my Derpship and lost a Thale and Baloc

The rage is strong in this game. The only thing that comes close is tekken for me. I too have gone through maybe 3 controllers between the two. I find having something to chew on is a good ragecure, such as a lot of gum or the end of my e-cig. I also find my cigarette intake climbs about 20-30% on a bad night of getting pubstomped. Not that I encourage that kind of habit.

Chew on something. Since I don't talk much, whether its autism or I just don't feel like saying anything so STOP EXPECTING ME TO SAY SOMETHING, I chew on stuff. Or/and I start playing rock music while playing, I have music on my PS3. Or imagine the rage on those HUMILIATION COD vids.

I do find rolling one and having a smoke does help.... .......... and then I just end up spending time sorting out fittings thinking im Playing some old RPG from the 90's luke FF7 or Vagrant Story....... ah the hours wasted, being wasted playing RPG's sorting out your weapons and stats.........
err....sorry drifted of subject.....that's what this stuff does to you....... ...
Do you know what gets me the most though is.... Mail from people who think they know better... such as... "don't sit on top of the MCC that's where scrubs sit, I new you were up there"... Im thinking why don't you shoot me then??

I smoke, drink & listen to BRUTAL death metal. All that keeps the rage in check.
Plus the punching bag I got in the garage comes in handy & was probably the best money I spent on this game, after my Sever Logi suit of course. |

lol. I've never raged while playing Dust (mostly because I don't care if I die, although it's not something I want to actively pursue) but several things said on the forums have made me mad.
Now, the Silent Hill HD collection. Grrrrr!!! That makes me rage. --_--
