Playing another game?
That's what I always recommend. If you're constantly playing Dust, you'll only build up the rage.
If you play other games your rage will be spread thin.
If you're about to have a "bad day" ala The Joker, take a break from Dust altogether.

I've never rage quit, but I have sad-face quit. This was when I first started playing Dust, which is my first FPS MMO, so there was a steep learning curve.
However, once I adopted the philosophy of "try not to die" in place of the philosophy "try to kill everything", I started doing much better generally and rarely get my panties in a twist these days.
I'f I'm sniping and get taken out, I switch to a cheaper fit (and usually move) or a scout suit. If I'm scouting, it's usually because I can't effectively snipe, so if I get taken out then, I'll switch to an inexpensive assault suit or heavy and try to run with other blues.
I just accept the fact that sometimes there's nothing I can do--I'm gonna get pwned.

I only rage on bugs. If it isn't a bug then I have no reason to get mad and actually don't. I turn the mic to mute as quickly as possible although I failed once and then finish the match somehow and then leave the game for a day. |

Yea, I remember seeing you guys in a match. And yea I was raging hard that day. I had like 90 Thales so I decided to just post up in the redline and keep shooting until they came and killed me. It was a pretty effective stress reliever.
