i say dont buff av but please nerf re's jihadability it is a no skill art that detracts from the role of guardian. (my favorite role what i would say i am best at personally) logi being my secondary strong suit and then tanking in third.

Deploying RE on red tanks is essential in AV...
As for jihad jeeps, lol if you die to one.... you deserve it I've used jihad jeeps a few times and if the HAV has any sense he won't fall for it And if the terrain is uneven it becomes much harder to get a hit....
Jihad jeeps fit perfectly into Risk V Reward, You are risking your ass going for that kill and it is not as easy as it looks, so I think the reward is justified....
CCP please don't listen to tankers cries for mercy.... With all the **** Infantry have put up with in 1.7 Tamkers deserve suicidal mainiacs being able to kill them

REs should remain sticky and be able to stick to anything. Red vehicles more so than anything, but even sticking them on friendly things not only makes sense but is completely valid. If I'm having issues getting you with my rail, my HMG sets of your remotes quite nicely

Had a tanker try this yesterday. He decided to use his tank as cover, so I shoved him against it and got the kill all the same. And even if he had backed away from his tank, if my remotes are near to him, I can hop out and detonate. And then I get a free tank.

They are only invincible if you are terrible, I kill tanks on foot, in the air and with other tanks, I guess it takes a tanker to kill a tanker, regardless of the tools. |

I was watching someone use proxes to devastating effect the other day. Forge guns still work a treat, and clearly REs are effective. Basically, I agree entirely.

Considering how hard tanks are stomping over infantry in most games (Just my observation here, but really hard) something has to give. It really doesn't matter if a few of us can handle tanks if they are running roughshod over 95% of the player base. It can't go on like this and we all know it.

I dunno, i feel like its perfect on the low to mid range of tanks, but a bit too powerful on the high end tanks.
More than anything though I would hate to lose this as a tactic. It adds to the game, and we would be worse off if was removed. We should be talking about balancing it, rather than removing it.
Also CCP, make them stick to infantry. Doooo eeeet

If this is true and they do change it then Dust will become a whole lot more boring to play. If anything they should give vehicles a much higher scan profile so they can be seen easily. There's no way a 3 Tonne tank can avoid a drop-suits sensors. |

It has the same effectiveness against a high-end tank, true, but a competent tanker shouldn't be caught out by it. Generally speaking, I cost the guy a few clones before he gets me; it's rare when I'm killed on the first couple of tries, and when that happens anything would have done the trick, so long as I was caught by surprise. It does irritate me when I get a hit on the LAV with my railgun but nothing explodes, though.

Your ten metre radius is smaller than you think. I hear HAVs have a scan precision of about 150db; couldn't tell you where I heard that, though, only that it was somewhere on the forums.
