I'm getting really tired of saying this.........
Until there are more heavy weapons things should stay as is
The problem with doing what you propose is that it totally gimps sentinals and basics at mid/long range....
If there was a heavy mid range anti infantry weapon then I would be all for it

No that defeats the purpose of them being heavy weapons.....using them comes at a price
For starters if I choose to go heavy I (as of right now) have only one racial suit
The suit has very limited speed and can't jump over anything
The heavy suit has the largest hit box I do believe
I cannot carry equipment

I fear the same......yeah I use a scrambler for ranged combat.....so....
You do the same......y do heavies finally get some love and one of you cod playing jackasses thinks that every shooter has to conform so everything's "fair"....
Let me tell you something if this game was "fair" nobody would lose.....ever.....we would shoot marshmallow and gumfrops at each other....the vehicles would all be pumpkin carriages and we would all get handed 200 billion isk a match
Grow the **** up......this is war.....it isn't impossible to kill us....use something called......and I know its an abstract concept to slime like you.....TEAMWORK......it isn't difficult......

OK look I'm getting really tired of saying this to people like u who think that heavies with only two weapon choices is balanced and fine......
Heavies have 0 medium ranged anti infantry weaponry....limiting heavies to using only the hmg or forge right now will result in a couple of bad things happening....
1 open maps=fgs tower sniping all over again or death taxis everywhere.....instead of actually fighting for objectives on open maps all heavies will be trying to find some way to be effective
2 cqc objectives would just be clumped Sooo much with heavies that people will complain about heavy spam ruining the game because heavies would not be able to push objectives....show me a heavy running across a field at an objective and taking the objective and I'll show you a bunch of ****** shots on the other team....
CCP has already said they would consider limiting heavies to heavy weapons once all heavy weapons are released.......so buddy tighten up your bootstraps Cuz its going to be a while before they even THINK about your proposal.... or quit just make sure to gimme ur isk
