DUST Search - Glaring Imbalance Issues

Snipers can hit 40 times in a match, do 5000+ damage and never get a kill, so sniper rifles need to go.

Mass drivers and plasma cannons are laughable. I've played 6-8 hrs a day for the last couple weeks and have never been killed by one. I have a commando alt with the MD but it's the only one I've seen in game. Sadly I can get more kills with militia Locus grenades than by direct hits with the MD. Having an AoE weapon with no AoE and very little direct damage is pointless. Have yet to see anyone with the PC. Since both are taking up space, wave goodbye to each.

The Combat and Rail rifle have made the Laser, Assault, and Scrambler rifles woefully out-gunned. So delete all of these as well.

There needs to be a cap on tanks in combat. 2 each for each side on the map at any time, for any game mode. This is only because the swarm launcher is so pathetic that you can't carry enough ammo to actually destroy a tank. Militia swarms should take out a militia tank in two shots. Since this will NEVER happen, swarms need to go.

And this is just for starters. Cancel the new equipment in 1.8. Delete almost everything that is currently offered until only what's used the most is left. Then add new stuff, on an even level with aforementioned over-used gear. Stop offering AUR items, or put them at the same SP value as the ISK variants.

I know that this will never happen, and there are now DUST fanboys vapor locking all over the globe because I dared say such things. Too bad, so sad. I can't wait for Star Citizen to come out.

Also, pub matches should only allow starter fit gear, there should be other tiers of matches for basic, adv, and proto gear, and one open tier for anyone to jump into with whatever they want to run. Plus, all players who were part of the old matches with 20-40k SP rewards need to be locked into a 'veterans' tier where they can't fight anyone but other 'veterans'.

I didn't touch the DUST forums for an entire 1 year and 3 months when i started playing. I suggest you actually PLAY dust and build your skills and knowledge without posting what you think within 10 days of playing. The only thing that's unbalanced about the knives is that you can't sprint with the charge held. That's it. Also, don't compare nova knives in Dust to knives in CoD. I have played CoD for years and knifing in Dust is nothing like knifing in CoD. Again, I'm an expert knifer here since waaaaaaaaay back in closed beta. And by way back I mean "Replication" build back when knives were not even a sidearm and you weren't able to swipe without fully charging them first and they were so weak that a plastic butter knife would do more damage than they did back then. Nowadays, since Chromosome, I can one-hit kill most assaults with the nova knives as long as I play it right by flanking, hiding, and jumping people from behind where they least expect it. A fully trained and fitted Minmatar Scout Mk.0 fitted with Ishukone Nova Knives can deal at least 1200 HP damage in a single 1-sec attack. Unless you're a heavy, you're dead on the spot. Even then, a second charged hit will finish you off. And don't forget that when a skilled knifer catches you, it's usually from behind and without you noticing him. And by the time you realize what's going on, you're already down to few points of armor and all that's left to do to finish you off is with a Flay Lock pistol or a melee. All 6 shots, from about 30 meters It got my shields and maybe 50 armor points. Then I shot him with a rail rifle. Twice. I also got a bunch of sniper rifle kills earlier firing blindly into an area near an objective. Nobody on either team was near it.
