Just as one point if people skill into FTOm suit and it gets nuffed to hell then tough thats your own dam fault :-P you skill into what u enjoy not silly subject to change bounses.
The current argument is down to there was absolutely no choice in the matter u wanted yo play heavy amarr it was.
Wepones like knives and pistols im iffy on but because they are introduceing them slowly everyone on the same level as everyone has to spend time skilling into them as its bad new way of shooting someone so u were not forced to use somthing else to fullfill a role that didnt exists.

Logically speaking as dropsuit bonuses are being changed the dropsuit tree should be refunded.
Example the min logi aka the speedy hacker is likely to be changed to the golden repper . Best example of justice and light giver of fatties. Many skilled into the min logi for that bonus which is now likely being moved to the min scout.
now here lies another problem.
Building a scout fit is very different to the skills used by the logi. You need points in dampers, range extension, regulaters, different weapons, a side arm, remotes  and my favourite weapon da knives
alot of the basic core skills will cross over but your looking at easy 4-6 million wasted sp if your entire play style revolved around speed hacking and you wish to continue that role.

the heavy.
Many of our larger friends didn't want the amarr suit but had to spec into it anyway for a suit to use. Now that other heavies are around the corner entire playstyles are being changed going from the amarr suit to the cal heavy suit. From Armor tanking to shield tanking. Two veeeeeeerrrrry different things.
But that's logic speaking which can't hold a candle to nuff said 
Would be a caveman but whisky and jolly forbidding me to get it changed :_;

In case ya did not notice, the whole suit and equipment trees changed, respecs are in order and very necessary. think of it this way, you will be able to get out of any stagnate line you may have possibly specced into, and increase any line you may already have. It is a win win situation for all. But if you are "perfect" and do not choose to respec, then don't. Not being a jerk here or anything, but I feel we should be able to respec at any time, not to keep up with FOTM but to be able to play our character any way we like. We may need to fill a spot for PC and may need an additional assault or logi and the regular may not be able to make it. Some may have enough SP to already be able to play a multi role, but most do not. |
