Learn To Quote Properly
Some people didn't like the Amarr Sentinel, but still wanted to be a Heavy. So if they wanted to be a heavy, then yes they were forced to skill into something they didn't want. And the same goes for other roles that are receiving racial parity.
How can I possibly be any more douchey than a person wanting to deny everyone of something simply because said person is content with their current setup?

Only refunding some skills in a tree is unrealistic.
Not everyone who uses Medium Frames is a FoTM chaser. Punishing an entire part of the playerbase for the actions of few is both garbage and unfair.
Considering how you use Assault suits, that statement could easily come back to haunt you in the future.

Oh, so the troll speaks once more it seems.
The refund for vehicles refunded every skill in their respective Skill Tree (Vehicle Command, Vehicle Upgrades, & Turret Operation).
They didn't simply refund the Caldari LAV skill and not the Gallente LAV skill, which is similar to what devonus is suggesting.

Yes it sucks that half the player base may very well not be form scrubs, and because of that, they can deal with what happens to them, it will suck for me, plenty of others, but it will not break the game. It will give CCP time to balance the suits and observe how they work, and allow it to be done faster. Perhaps I'm a pessimist, but I loathe to see what happens if everyone gets respec before ***** balanced.
