with all the survivability and damage buffs every class seems to be getting i feel the new logi buffs are going to render the logi useless. i cant see any use for logis aside from an initial spam of the game as the stats promote this by being 1 sided as they are

when logis die off dont come on the forums moaning, a true logi will see how weak we are going to be compared to the massive buff to damage and tank every other class is getting.

sure the logi bonuses are great but we have to survive to actually use it all. anyone saying there is not going to be a problem here is talking out their a***. i have to stack 1k ehp just to survive and thats with 3 adv gear and a proto repair and standard weapon, no grenades. and what do we actually get from the new logi bonuses, a massive increase in suit costs. the other only works on 1 of out 3-4 equipment which has only a use for spamming

Yep. Gal logi will be huge for any squad. The extended scan duration and more importantly percision is so huge. Also min logi repping at 200+ armor per sec? Yes please.

thats what logis have now become due to the buffs, spam suits. is that the game we really want or even the role we want logis to become, forget the odd assault logi only out for himself, the new spamlogi is going to f*** this game up. you think the little uplink spam we have now is bad, wait till we get these new suits, every assault logi if stuck with their logi suits(if we dont get a respec) is going to turn it into a spam suit and this in turn will get logis nerfed again. yet again the logibro will suffer while everyone else benefits

but im a logibro, im here to repair and supply people. i dont want to be forced into spamming just to compete because thats the only effective way to use my suit

you, a non logibro think its going to be fine, but me an actual full time logibro dont think its going to be fine. who's opinion actually matters here. the guy who abused logis getting them changed in the first place or the ones who have to put up with the changes while you just move on to better gear

i'm a true logi and i say they are not great. that is my opinion on my role (oh look i can bold aswel) not the opinion of someone who doesn't do that role. what makes you think your views are more valid than my own

OK. What he said just wasn't true at all because the only Logi to ever suffer before was the Cal Logi. However, two wrongs don't make a right. Just because the Logi was the best suit doesn't mean it needs to be the worst suit to balance the universe... That would be intentional imbalance, and that's wrong.

You see that's contradictory though, because he might be helping his team by getting kills, his logi role may be only for specific times. How do you determine when a logi is a help to his team and when he isn't?

your right, losing a 1/4 of my ehp or giving up on arm repair is well worth it for a bonus to a single piece of equipment i may or may not use and is only of use if people actually need it which with all the ehp and damage buffs to everyone, situations to drop gear is going to be far less.

also they put uplinks on the slowest logi suit and repair tool on weakest? what sort of choice is that. i know its a racial thing but there has got to be better options so as to make the most of the bonuses otherwise what's the point.
